    I waited 56 minutes to get test results and got cut off!!! I am at work and need my results - so frustrating....

    Dear Patient Thank you for leaving your review. We are extremely sorry to learn of your troubles getting through to the surgery. We have been very short staffed for a while now, but do have new members joining us soon so we hope the wait will not be so long to get through. For future reference you could try sending an e-Consult asking for your results and these will be sent through within the next 48 hours or you could register for online services. Once again we can only apologise for the difficulty you have had and hope you have managed to receive your results by now. Thank you again for leaving your feedback.     This is the second time I am leaving a review. Tried calling surgery today due to illness and no one pucks up the phone the message you get is 'due to teptiono staff shortage there us only one receptionist answering the phones please call back tomorrow at 8.30am'!!!! Are they serious? This surgery should be shut down as you can almost never get an appointment or speak to anybody. The last review i left about a year ago was also about not being able to get through by phone. Am looking to register with another surgery which is actually in a position to deal with its patients

    Dear Patient Thank you for leaving your feedback and we are so very sorry to learn that you have already had to do this before. We can only apologise profusely that you have had such difficulty in getting through to the surgery. We have been extremely short-staffed of late, but do have new members joining us soon, which should help with the wait for the telephones. We also offer the e-Consult service whereby you would receive a reply within 48 hours. We cannot apologise enough for the experience you have received, but do hope you will continue with us.     You cannot get through to this practice on the phone. I tried over a hour to get test results and then got cut off. I have been a patient here for about 26 years. When you do see someone I have been happy with the service I have received but I do not have an hour spare to wait in the phone for test results. There must be a more efficient way of doing this.

    Dear Mr Rowland Thank you for your feedback which we value whether positive or negative as it helps us to try to improve our service. We are so very sorry to learn of your experience with our telephone lines. Unfortunately, we have been extremely short staffed for a while now, which is why patients are experiencing long delays waiting for the telephone to be answered. We are hoping to recruit new members soon. As regards the technical issue about the line being cut off, we will endeavour to speak with our phone provider to correct this problem. Could we suggest that you also try the e-Consult service whereby you should receive a reply within 48 hours.     When speaking to friends and family members, I feel fortunate that I have been registered with this practice for the past 35 years. I have only ever had 1 negative experience in all that time. The Doctor I have seen twice recently as my problems have got more complex as I've got older has really listened to me, gone back through my notes to get my history etc etc., and I have left the surgery breathing a sigh of relief that I am getting somewhere.

    When I needed help Reception and the doctors could not have been helpful, discrete, efficient and caring. I was made to feel cared for as an individual - and adaptations were made to ensure I accessed a surgery doctor on the day of calling. Thank you.
