I wanted to leave a review following a positive experience at a cervical screening appointment this morning. The nurse spent time explaining what would happen in the appointment, when I would receive my results and how to interpret them and what to do if I don’t receive my results. She was kind and maintained/promoted my dignity at all times. I thought it was important to feedback as this hasn’t always been my experience over the years. Admittedly it may be that other nurses haven't had as much time, training or expertise to complete the appointment in the same manner. I know many women feel quite vulnerable going for their screening and so it’s so important that it is a positive experience to ensure they continue to engage and promote it with their family and friends .

I was referred to the Surgery's Health and Well Being Coach for a series of consultations and am so grateful for her patience, understanding and help. I looked forward to our sessions as felt I could talk very openly and always came away feeling better and having learnt new coping techniques. Thank you

I have had issues since having a fall which has required support from the mentioned GP . She has been kind caring and supportive throughout at so thorough . She even arranged for me to see a specialist within 24 hrs of seeing her as she chased up surgical team that had dealt with me the previous week . I would like to say thank you for all her support .

I had a smear test today in the surgery and the nurse that did the procedure for me could not have been better, best smear test experience yet! Just wish the receptionist was also as friendly. I experience quite a harsh unwelcoming check in, just being rudely directed to the auto sign in despite it having just opened and very very quite

I went for my smear test today with a wonderful nurse. Even though I have had many smear tests during my life this today was by far the most comfortable I have ever felt. The nurse was personable and friendly and made me feel at ease. She took the time to explain everything to me and it was over in seconds. If every nurse was like her there would be a lot more take up of smear tests, both young and old. Thank you so much. I was lucky to have you today.

I've had a couple of reasons to use this practice recently. In both cases I got a telephone call within an hour or so of leaving an online message, and a satisfactory conclusion.

I had my smear test done and considering it's always been a bit of a testing experience for me, nurse M made me feel at ease. She was very communicative, gentle and supportive. I always dread those type of tests and she definitely made it stress free experience. Truly wonderful person.

I recently had an appointment with Nurse M and I am truly pleased with the care and professionalism she showed during the consultation. M took the time to listen to my concerns, ensuring she understood every detail of my medical history and current symptoms. She also encouraged me to ask questions. Her attentive approach made me feel valued and heard, which is rare in busy healthcare settings. I highly recommend M to anyone seeking attentive and knowledgeable medical care.

I have been consistently impressed with Addison Rd since rejoining the practice a few years ago. The admin staff are consistently caring, helpful, and warm. Today, for example, I was contacted within the hour of sending a contact form and offered an appointment on the same day. To be clear, this was not an emergency! I have just returned from my visit with the GP. I would like to name her because I have never in my life felt so listened to and helped by a GP. This woman was incredibly knowledgeable and she offered me more help than I had even hoped for. After a year of increasing suffering, I left the GP with hope that my condition might actually be treated, and this has made a huge difference to my well being. Thank you Addison Road for your consistent high performance in a time when GPs surgeries are so very challenged. You are doing everything right.

The Doctor I’ve seen today and exactly a week ago, is exceptional, very knowledgeable & meticulos. I feel being in very safe hands with her. It is for the first time when a doctor at Addison Road Medical Practice is giving me a follow up appointment to check how I did recover after the antibiotics - she checked again my ears & the toe infection, & proscribed other 3 days of the same antibiotics, so I will have 10 days of treatment as the infection is still not resolved completely. I kindly ask the management of the practice to let me see the same doctor, when I need medical attention.
