   I called at 8am to arrange a same day appointment. The call took 45 minutes to be answered. Everybody knows at 8am, the majority of calls are booking appointments therefore take no longer then 1 minute. I was advised to call back if my symptoms worsen which they did however when i called back, i was 11 in the que and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to move down to caller 7!! I had no choice but too attend A&E and my appointment went down as a dna due to not being able to make contact. Telephone system need's reviewing or messaging facility need's enabling on Pt Access/nhs App as unfair service. I strongly believe the telephone's are only answered at their convenience.
