  1. Review titled Terrible.

I've been ringing at 8am for months on and off trying to get an appointment. If you got through on the phone you would be placed in a queue. Now there's no queue you just get told to ring back another time. I've rang the surgery in the day also on at least four occasions. I selected option 1 ( general enquiries ) was place 3 in the queue , waited on hold 25 mins , got to place 1 in the queue and was cut off from the call. This has happened at least four times. Also i get told to ring the surgery to order my hrt prescription and book a wellness appointment ( blood pressure , weight etc ) around 2 weeks before my hrt is due most of the time when i ring up there are no appointments. I've been having lots of medical problems this year and i feel like i can't seek help from my doctors. It's really worrying , i'm a carer for my disabled , autistic son , i need to be in decent health to look after him.

  2. Review titled Reception never give appointment - poor services

Rated 1 star out of 5

I called at 8 in the morning waiting 45 minutes before being able to get an answer because in the meantime my call was closed several times by the reception. This thing has happened to me many other times, and never receive an answer. When they answered I was told to call at 8 and that it wasn't possible to have an appointment and to call 111, or to try again tomorrow maybe I'll be luckier. The receptionists cannot decide whether I need an appointment with the GP, otherwise they would be the GPs. The service on their part is really poorly organised, without forgetting that some receptionists are also very rude, believing they are doctors. Even the online application doesn't allow me to get an appointment, so what do I need to do to be able to talk to GP, win the lottery? Please educate the receptionists to be more polite and remember that they are not doctors. If I call the GP it is because I don't feel well and I need a visit or medicines that require a prescription. Dear receptionists, thank you very much.

I'm sorry you had a poor response from the reception team. I'm unsure what you mean by the receptionist closed your call several times. We do have a issues with the phones cutting off this is a know fault with the system and due to this fault we are in the middle of changing our phone system. If you have completed a online medical request via our web page this should have gone to the clinical staff on call who will decide if you need to be seen on the day or later in the week. I apologise if this didn't happen. Practice Manager

  3. Review titled Appointments

You can never get an appointment. I rang for an appointment to get referred for an injection and surprise, surprise no appointment. I didn't ask for one on the same day and they didn't offer an appointment for any other time, they just told me to ring up in the morning for a telephone consultation. Also for some reason there are never any appointments on patient access anymore with no explanation why. Most people work and can't phone first thing in a morning and they certainly can't stay on hold for half an hour just to be told there are no appointments left
