This is an awful practice, from receptionists to GP’s - no one answers the phone - the Dr in charge doesn’t listen, he’s stuck in the 1980’s with regards to medical knowledge, has zero empathy and humanity, makes you wonder why he chose to be a doctor, I have GP’s in my family, all say the same thing, he’s outdated and needs re-training. Unfortunately, kindness isn’t something that can be taught though. I had bad acid reflux and the GP advised changing my diet. I have a good diet, an antacid is what’s required for instance.

My wife and I were called to the practice for flu and Covid jabs. We were seen within minutes of our arrival after a friendly and courteous welcome by the reception staff and the practice nurse. To answer a few queries before the vaccination, both the doctors attended to us and provided reassurance and advice. We were very pleased with their approach and greatly appreciated their professional, friendly and helpful support. Just a few weeks back my wife had to attend A&E at a local hospital where a few tests were done. After informing the GPs in the practice the following day, they were in touch with the hospital and obtained the results of the investigations and provided prompt advice. We consider this to be an example of great medical practice that deserves recognition. Both of us would recommend this practice, its doctors and all the staff without any reservations.
