My telephone appointment was dealt with very efficiently and in a very caring and helpful manner.The reason for my enquiry was not in any way urgent as I was only enquiring when I should arrange a blood test but was treated with excellent understanding.

Caring, attentive and kind. The doctor made me feel very relaxed even though I felt unwell. Also seen on the same day I phone the surgery. Very impressed indeed.

Ive always had such a great experience with this surgery. Friendly receptionists. Able to get same day appointment for my poorly child. Saw the nurse practitioner who was just amazing putting my daughters nerves and ease, and diagnosing so efficiently.

I would like to thank Dr F and staff for the care my husband received. He was seen within hours on the 27th December. Another phone appointment received the same day. He ordered an X-ray which was done within three days. He received the results the next day. Amazing

I would like to say a massive thank you to the staff at Amherst who have been so accommodating to me and all of my children. I have been so impressed with their attentiveness and help in extremely busy times and under pressure. Thank you to the doctors nurses and support staff who do a brilliant job.

This practice is simply amazing. I called the day after Christmas as my elderly father needed some advice and he had a same day appointment - even when the practice is running on light staffing, like between Christmas and New Year it still delivers the unbelievable service that it offers all year round. My heartfelt thanks to everyone there for being the medical practice that everyone may aspire to being but they actually achieve, day in day out.

I’ve been a patient here for about 18 months, the staff have been nothing but brilliant. The receptionists are great, the doctor and various nurses I have seen are incredibly helpful. The econsult system works really well, I’ve always been able to speak to a Dr that day, and on the off chance a telephone appointment hasn’t been enough I’ve been seen within 24 hours.

i have visited the head nurse and she has been absolutely brilliant. on all occasions totally professional, efficient, compassionate, knowledgeable and very responsive. i cannot commend her enough. she is the best nurse i have ever had treat me

Having moved from London where it was impossible to call the surgery, speak to anyone or make an appointment, I am so impressed with the service at Amherst Road. Via e consult and calling the practice, I was able to speak with a Doctor within a few hours, who sent a prescription to the local pharmacy to collect the next day. The reception staff are friendly and helpful to try to accommodate appointments later in the day to fit with my work hours.

I have been coming for 34 years. They have been consistently excellent. I recently had immensely speedy and thorough treatment for a number of medical conditions some of which were concerning but all of which were dealt with to a very high standard indeed. I am very grateful that such a professional practice is available and would like to thank them for all they are doing.
