  1. Review titled Not taken seriously

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 13 August 2024

After having 2 asthma attacks within 24 it is NHS standard practice to get a doctors appointment within the next 48 hours. We are now having to wait a full week as we were not taken seriously and even insulted for being in the presence of mixed chemicals which we did not mix. Also, the same person has failed to make a name change after marriage which happened over 4 months ago which has caused a few issues when getting prescriptions and such.

  2. Review titled Very poor practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

After 2 econsults, 1 question from dr by text on a medium which didn’t accept replies and 1 phone call I finally saw a doctor. The practice have been asked to monitor an ‘abnormal’ blood test. I asked to arrange this and also asked what this meant. ‘I don’t know.’ No ‘let me find out for you’ . No ‘sorry’. Nothing. Resorted to Dr Google when I got home. It is an blood test used to monitor Myeloma apparently. I didn’t know this was an issue and would have appreciated a chance to discuss this with the people monitoring it. A bit worried that I will be relying on them to do this. This is not the first time I have been told that the doctor didn’t know what a test result means. Really? Something is wrong. Top tip - register somewhere else if you can.

  3. Review titled Such kindness

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Although my families bones lie in the county, I am now just a guest. It was with great kindness that from my initial phone call, the reception staff and triage doctor that I became a temporary patient. My issue was dealt with a can do, we can sort this out attitude which was both gentle and kind. I would just like to say thank you, you make a most wonderful team.

  4. Review titled great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

A really supportive and enjoyable conversation with the nurse. Could not have been conducted better. Unfortunately I do not have a smart phone and the code that was sent to my dinosaur phone was not accepted by this computer. Perhaps a note to send reminders to my email instead. Thank you

  5. Review titled Good practice.

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I received a reply to my e-consult which was concise and to the point. However, I did not see my physiotherapist, it was conducted via the phone, also I've been doing pertinent exercises since my injury to my Achilles tendon. When the pain increased further with continued exercising I took another look at Dr Google and from a medical person who advised rest and Voltarol to help reduce swelling and pain. This has done the job. Thank you for all your help.

  6. Review titled Helpful receptionist

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Liz - Posted on 02 February 2024

I'm a new patient and needed to go into the practice today to sort a few things out, once parked I found the signs easy to follow. There was a small queue and one person on reception in the afternoon. That person was incredibly helpful, kind and patient and made me feel very welcomed and at ease. It's a pity I can't name them as I really would have liked them to receive the positive feedback they deserve, I did thank them at the time.

website could benefit from having e-mail contact details so healthcare professionals can communicate in this way rather than taking up valuable phone time for both parties

Spent ages trying to fill out econsult. Received a text message stating I would get a callback. No call was made!

  9. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I completed an e-consult first thing and a GP called me within a couple of hours to discuss my concerns. He was kind, patient and really helpful. He made some suggestions which he talked through with me, and my situation was swiftly resolved. Absolutely excellent service.

  10. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

After a recent late afternoon emergency dental appointment where I had to go back the following day for a potentially difficult tooth extraction, I rang the GP surgery and left a message asking it it would be possible to get a prescription for meds to help my anxiety as I have an absolute terror of dentists. I got a call back almost straight away and the receptionist couldn't have been more empathetic and kind and said she'd see what she could do. I got a text message at 7pm that evening to say a prescription had been sent to the pharmacy for me to collect in the morning. The tooth extraction was successful and stress-free and I cannot thank the GP surgery enough because without their help there is no way I'd have coped. Excellent service all round
