Dear Patient, thank you for leaving such a positive review of which I will pass onto all of the staff. We are delighted at the way the clinics have run this year and will be adopting the same system next year. Kind regards Hayley

First class service , no waiting , processed straight away. Quick and efficient, staff all on the ball. Parking always a problem, but even managed that today.

Dear Peter, thank you for acknowledging the efficiency of the clinic. The number of patients we need to vaccinate increases annually, with circa 2000 this year. We tweak the system each year but I think we now have a "wining formula". Kind regards Hayley

Review titled Flu and Covid Vaccination

Very efficiently run clinic Professional vaccination staff. I had both vaccines and were given at the time arranged. I was advised of the clinics by sms and had no problem booking an appointment for vaccination.

Dear Amarjit, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Due to the large volume of vaccinations required (circa 2000), patient participation and goodwill is as equally important as good planning and preparation. We are very pleased with the way the clinics have run and will be adopting the same format next year. Thank you. Kind regards Hayley

Review titled Impossible to get anything you need done
Rated 1 star out of 5

Impossible to get an appointment. Phoned today as I needed an emergency prescription. Told no doctors available to sign this off. How long does it to take to look at a screen and sign a piece of paper. It seems absolutely pointless for this organisation to exist as you are just constantly referred to NHS 111 or another clinical body. I have stopped bothering to even phone and now just automatically go to local walk in services. Not sure what a busy working person is to do if they need medical help in this day and age.

Dear Patient, thank you for your message. Patient safety is always at the core of our procedures. Before a prescription can be issued the doctor has to ensure that it is appropriate and safe to do safe. They are unable to do this in the middle of a full clinic and on an immediate basis. However if you contact me direct, we can discuss your concerns in detail and how we can assist you in future. Kind regards Hayley

Review titled Clunky online service
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 29 August 2023
Having had major surgery for bowel cancer, I was obviously facing a considerable period of time off sick from work. The process of requesting a sick certificate via the online contact form was cumbersome and slow. ie you are not allowed to request a new certificate until the day after your current one has expired and it took 5 days for a Dr to look at and process the request. If I had a less understanding employer, this could have caused difficulties with them and statutory sick pay etc. For long term conditions, surely an element of pre-planning should be allowed ie requesting a new certificate in advance?

Dear Patient, thank you for leaving a review. We always try to be as flexible as possible but unfortunately the system regarding the provision of a medical certificate is not set by us. We physically cannot issue a certificate before the old one expires but we do offer to call a patients employer to discuss these restrictions. We also offer to back date any requests if need be. Please feel free to contact me direct to discuss. Kind regards, Hayley

Review titled Fantastic surgery
Rated 5 stars out of 5

EConsult is quick and efficient as you no longer have to queue. The surgery deals with 3 conditions in my family really well and the team always have time and patience for us all. We feel listened to and understood. Despite the immense pressures put on the NHS in recent years, we feel taken care of. The attached pharmacy is able to answer questions and take the pressure off the surgery too. Thank you all.

Review titled An appointment? What is that?
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Catherine Neve - Posted on 10 May 2023
I would like an explanation as to how a person goes about getting an appointment at this surgery, please. Rang at 8.30, 6th in queue. 7yr old with earache. Waited 43 minutes for a reply. No appointments available for today. How can this be? I was told 5 telephonists and receptionist at window, therefore appointments are booked quickly. Do Not understand how 6th in queue, 5 operators and 43 minutes wait. No appointment. Do Not understand how calls are counted on this ludicrous system. 43 minutes divided by 5 is around 9 minutes per call - Not in my experience - they can't get you off the phone fast enough. When I said, "How can this be?" I was told that she was unable to discuss the phone system with me! Like it was a state secret for goodness sake! Or as I suspect just pure inefficient working practices. Getting an appointment at this surgery is impossible - unless you go and queue at the window and manage to be first in line or get your dialling started at 8:29:55 am, so that your call manages to hit the exact moment they open. I would like some kind of explanation as to how one gets an appointment for a child in pain, when urgent? Econdult in my experience rarely works. On more than one occasion I have filled out a form only to be told at submission that the surgery isn't taking these! So, very frustrating.

Review titled worst practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been coming to this practice since I was a little girl, however, as now I am in my 40s with children, my family has also been coming here, but as the years have passed by, this practice has gone from good, to bad to the worst practice ever in Medway. The practice is not very welcoming or helpful, especially at the reception. You ask them for any sort of help you do not get the help, whether it's face-to-face or via phone. I pay my taxes, we should not be treated like this, this makes me think why should they get paid more when they don't treat their patients well? If you have children and are someone elderly, I would not recommend wasting your time on this practice. I am now looking for a better service practice.
