  1. Review titled Amazing staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Niki Clarke - Posted on 23 August 2024

The nurse I saw was reasuring, friendly and explained everything, any questions I had were answered and nothing seemed to much, this isn't my first time seeing her and every time she's the same, goes above and beyond making me feel safe and looked after. The lady who was on reception although I didn't catch her name was also brilliant, it's a tight space during the renovation, but she still made privacy happen when exchanging information

  2. Review titled Great Nursing Staff

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Catherine Stuckey - Posted on 14 August 2024

Met with the Nurse after a difficult day and experience with a doctor, I had a visit with her for bloods. She was a breath of fresh air and just what I needed. Practical advice, caring, informative and smiley. Just what I needed at that time, on that day. A further follow up appointment proved just as satisfactory with same nurse and her young assistant. A real heroine, a great asset to the Ariel Health

  3. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Alison Patuck - Posted on 15 August 2024

I am profoundly deaf and cannot use the phone but staff have been fantastic responding to my emails, booked me an 'on the day GP appt' and followed up by bloods appt, sorted my fit note. All done within 24 hrs. I have needed alot of support this week and they have met my needs. V quick responses for which I am very grateful for as I know how busy and stretched GP surgeries are in general. I know this as I work in a GP Practice myself elsewhere. So thank you to those concerned. Would recommend this Practjce.

  4. Review titled Practice in crisis

Rated 1 star out of 5

What a shockingly bad experience today. Took an hour to book over the phone, after 3 hours sat in the waiting room and told the doctor will be with me shortly, at 6pm I was finally told I should have been at the Fore Street Practice and the Doctors were going home. I spoke to various members of staff who could see my appointment on the system, told to keep waiting and no mention of being in the wrong Surgery. I never did see a doctor even though I am very poorly with a reoccurring illness, I really need to see a doctor now, I thought today I would finally see a doctor and start treatment I so badly require. I was just told to take in a urine sample by the receptionist. What a mess, it’s just not acceptable. Who ever is in charge of this practice need to understand they are letting their patients down badly with potentially seriously ill people slipping through the red tape and not having the dignity of seeing an old fashioned GP when really needed.

  5. Review titled muddled and bureaucratic Ariel Healthcare, Chard

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 16 July 2024

Medication post emergency AE treatment 10th July still not organised (16th July). Earliest doctor's appointment finally set up after 3 visits to Ariel offices for 20th August! Current average in the UK is under a fortnight. The Ariel website is a maze and sends one in circles. Repeat prescriptions are delayed. (In contrast NHS 111 works well and is helpful)

  6. Review titled Uncaring doctors

Rated 1 star out of 5

I was taking morphine capsules for years for my chronic back pain, and recently the doctors decided to say that I hadn’t had any from two months, and that I had apparently weaned off them, of which I hadn’t So I’ve how been left without any, and having to go cold Turkey, which is extremely wrong, of which they should know Very unsympathetic doctors, and no duty of care at all

  7. Review titled Excellent Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Gavin Watts - Posted on 14 August 2024

Ariel Healthcare were brilliant this morning. Been as ill as I’ve ever felt over the weekend. Fever, sweating but shivering with cold. Muscle aches. I’m immune suppressed so I can’t fight infections very well Filled out online form at 8 this morning. Got called back at 8:49. Appointment for 9:15. Prescription sorted and collected. Could ask for a better service

  9. Review titled Failed to treat my son's infection

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 March 2024

Tried to get seen with symptoms of infection but the the receptionist refused. As per usualy ended having to seek treatment from our of hours service. Don't know why I expected anything less from a practice whoose antibiotic prescriptions rates fall extremely far below the national and local average.

  10. Review titled Vindictive receptionist

Rated 1 star out of 5

Rang to ask for a consultation for my son who has strep A, he has just finished antibiotics and still has a bad cough and fever. After taking his name the receptionist then decided to say they were at full capacity. They then decided to lie about what the prerecorded message said.
