Went to surgery on 16/5/24 with chest pain and my GP talked to A&E medical staff and explained my condition. He also booked a cab to send me to A&E for further treatment. The reception staff is and GP were helpful, kind and well behaved. Keep up the good work.

I am very disappointed about the service by the reception. On Tuesday, 30.04.2024, we called the surgery to get an appointment for my daughter after being referred by 111. We called about 10 times throughout the morning each time the call was in a queue and after waiting for around 40 minutes they would disconnect the call. In the end we had to give up. This is really disgusting and disappointing. The receptionist needs to be retrained they are the first contact of patients and should not disconnect calls. We had to give up in the end, but had to call again today as there has been no improvement in my daughters symptoms. This tim called at 8.00 and luckily got through and told the receptionist about the experience of Tuesday and he just ignored that conversation.

Submitted a patient triage form. It says you will hear from them in 48 hours. Two weeks later I haven't heard anything. Tried to phone today to find out why I hadn't heard anything and was on hold for over 30 minutes and then just cut off. I tried to phone back but the automated message said the surgery was now closed as the opening hours are 8am - 6.30pm. It was 5.10pm.

Earlier this week, I had arranged an appt. with the gp after a long struggle getting through. I got a call back from the pharmacist. She was very pleasant, but unable to help me. The receptionist did take all my details, but somehow it was not processed appropriately. Consequently, I was told by the pharmacist that the gp surgery will reach out and rebook as only the gp can initiate this treatment. No one has reached out from the surgery. I've just spent 31 minutes on the phone after several previous attempts as the answerphone stated the surgery is closed... this was early afternoon on 21st Thursday Sept. 2023. After several attempts, the answerphone informed me I was number 1 in the queue. On 2 occasions it then disconnected. I'm suffering from chronic insomnia, desperate to get sleep, but this surgery, as on a few previous occasions, just simply so difficult to contact. Tomorrow, I will walk down to the surgery to personally book an appointment. It so tiring and frustrating, I'm at my wits end as I have been after this new medication since last year, when I discovered it has been approved by the mhra for use and it was made available last week to patients. It's as if it's a full-time occupation in itself to book an appointment here! I'm so tired!
