I had a painful finger following a cat bite. I didn’t want to take an urgent appointment but required help speedily as I was due to go away. I saw the pharmacist who said I required antibiotics but with time being a problem i was worried about how long it would take for me to be seen. The reception staff were excellent talking me through the process of sending a photograph to be triaged. This was done very quickly and the GP rang me before I left home and arranged for a prescription to be at my local pharmacy. Very grateful for being looked after so well Thank you

I saw a new Dr for the first time who was extremely helpful, able to answer my queries arrange for blood tests and arranged for me to see him on my next visit in four weeks. This was extremely pleasing for me to know the same Dr was continuing to see me and l would not have to repeat my history to a new one.

I've been having problems with my insulin applicator, and was concerned as I am going on holiday for three weeks, I received a call from the meds manager, who resolved my problem, I had to go back, they came down to see me, explained a couple of things, hopefully, problem sorted. Many thanks

Following ongoing issues with my osteoarthritis affecting my knees I made an appointment to see the physiotherapist who promptly reviewed my case and recommended I should be referred to a knee specialist, which he arranged immediately after my visit. The physiotherapist also arranged for me to have a series of knee injections to help manage my knee pain in between seeing the knee specialist. The service I received was/is absolutely excellent - in one simple word ‘professional’. Thank-you.

About 18mnts ago I left a message with this surgery to ask them to enable repeat prescriptions for my statins via my NHS app. This has still not been done and they refused to reinstate my repeat prescription on the phone. It is a real struggle to fill in an application and take it to the surgery. Shame on this practice!

Very helpful receptionist gave useful information and wanted to do her job, prompt service much better than normal phone calls at the surgery, not rushed at all

Telephone. Encounter with care navigator , kept taking over me , addressed me as “love “did not listen to my issue or offer any solutions and hung up . Prior to this I had been trying to get through the surgery and the line kept disconnecting ,very poor service

I needed a review of my medication due to worsening symptoms of asthma and COPD. Within two days, felt like a new woman and also offered an ‘MOT’ where my bloods were checked. Great service.

I attended Carnforth surgery for a smear test. The nurse was excellent, very caring, and the procedure was done quickly without any discomfort.
