Review titled No appointments
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 14 April 2025
I call at 7:50am and continuously called for 30mins. I was never connected to a receptionist. Eventually I got through after calling for 30mins and no appointments were available. I was told to try again my luck again the next day. I am 4 months pregnant and require medical attention and I was not able to talk to a doctor or be seen or even ask what my medical issue was.

Review titled Non responsive to online requests
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Nicola O’Connor - Posted on 11 February 2025
I have been a patient of this surgery for 26 years and can honestly say that the past year the level of frontline service you receive is appalling. The surgery encourages you do message online and you do so on several occasions and only one member of staff who has been there as long as me responds . If she is off you get no response whatsoever. I have now been requesting an update on myreferral from my GP now for 5 weeks and have just found out after waiting this long that she is on annual leave for 3 weeks so 8 weeks wasted. Please Ashchurch keep on top of your frontline staff so this doesn’t happen to another patient

Review titled Unsympathetic
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 July 2024
I have been a patient in this surgery for over ten years. Today, I learned I was removed from the system because some letters were returned. I explained that the post box was shared at my place, and some of my mail had gone missing; therefore, I was checking for my email online after I made them aware of it. I am in the middle of changing my medication, and it is not working well, so I need to speak to my GP urgently. I am in a vulnerable situation. I was upset, and I tried to explain to the receptionist my situation and condition as the medication was not working; she kept leaving me on hold every time I gave her more info about my condition to speak to another member of the receptionist, but in the end, after a quick message which I did not understand because my hearing disability she put the phone down without letting me respond. Then they refuse to help, leaving me in a very vulnerable situation.
