I had a session this evening on prediabetic exposure , what type of food that increases blood sugar and how to regulate sugar in the blood, it was so interesting and educative.

This program is an eye opener, though I was a bit aware of how excess sugar can negatively affect our health. I have been consuming much of what am not supposed to be eating until this great enlightenment. The health education was simply, concise and easily understood which will really prevent me from taking excessive carbohydrate and incorporate protein and fats in my diet to promote my wellbeing. I really learned what needed to be learnt from the health program and I wish this can be a campaign to educate and encourage others to eat healthy foods and to let citizens know the dangers of eating unhealthy foods and it’s implications on their health.

I attended part 1 of a Diabetic Course tonight 30/10/24 and found the evening very friendly and informative in a pleasant setting and an excellent presentation. Many thanks and after being somewhat apprehensive about it I’m looking forward to attending part 2. Also during October I have had both my Covid and flu vaccinations which both went smoothly and whilst at these appointments the receptionist sorted out a query I had and booked me a clinician appointment regarding my request.

Thank you to the lovely phlebotomist I saw today, and have seen previously. She took blood extremely fast and there was not a scratch of pain, and she was pleasant and cheerful.

I attended the diabetic type 2 session held at Aspen. I found it very helpful, with information clearly laid out. I would recommend attendance at such a session for all those concerned. Thank you for the doctor and health professional involved for making it an enjoyable and easy to understand session.

Very fast, great nurse . Painless blood samples taken. Seen early than expected. Overall very good appointment the nurse was very helpful and knowledgeable.

We found the diabetes and pre diabetes support group to be very encouraging & positive. It was very friendly relaxed & informal session. The doctor gave us a clear explanation of the reasons causing diabetes & how we can turn things around. There was a lot of information on foods to eat & ones to avoid. Plus busting the myths of foods we thought were good for us. Great tips on how & when to eat & benefits of exercise. Looking forward to our 2nd group session.

The Aspen centre guidance lecture on precautions for and courses of action to be taken by prediabetics, given in the 3rd floor meeting room by a specialist doctor on monday 5th august 2024 was extremely good, easily understood and has motivated us to act now.

I’m not allowed to name a person and say thank you. Nonetheless, I would thank you to my doctor within the Aspen Centre Skin clinic who kindly expedited my skin assessment for my head scalp. Their assessment of sun damage versus something more serious provided reassurance and peace of mind. Having seen a consultant dermatologist too, I am grateful for quick health advice and remediation treatment from both sources. Kind regards.
