    Had a appointment with the diabetic clinic and it was amazing, really well run and explained everything that was very helpful

    Attended for my blood test appointment. Was seen on time. Everything checked with me. Usually have a little difficulty giving blood. Was done extremely quickly. Very smiley and chatty phlebotomist

    Would like to recognise an excellent phlebotomist today. I have regular blood test for ongoing treatment. Even though I have regular tests I'm still not good at having the blood test. Whenever I get booked with this particular nurse (I forget her name) I'm always surprised how well she takes the blood with ease and in a calm manner. It is always painless when she does it so it eases any anxiety about having it done when I see her. My appointment was 12.37 on 2.2.24 at the aspen centre.

    Today I called to speak to a pharmacist but the options have changed. After getting through to the ‘pharmacy team’ and spoke to a member of staff. I asked if I could speak to a pharmacist and was told no it was appointment only. I asked if this had recently changed as I’ve spoken to a pharmacist multiple times before and was told no it’s always been this way. It hasn’t! I asked again how I go about speaking to a pharmacist as when I last spoke to a pharmacist they told me to call back at anytime if I needed any help or advice with medication. Your member of staff then felt it appropriate to laugh at me! Is this how your staff are trained, to have no knowledge of how the system works and to laugh at patients when they are asking questions as to why these things were different a week ago. Due to the incompetence of your staff I’m now left with no medication and no understanding of how things now work. Your member of staff also mentioned that an appointment would be a few weeks which is nonsense as up until a week ago I have been able to call and speak directly to a pharmacist, get medication prescribed and ask questions about medications that I’m taking. (Your member of staff also said they would send me a text for an emergency prescription form) they didn’t! I am leaving feedback here but also will be making an official complaint along with asking for all recorded conversations (mainly the call where your staff think laughing at patients is appropriate behaviour)

    I recently attended a session for patients who have been diagnosed with prediabetes and diabetes. The session was really well delivered, the doctor presenting it was very engaging and made the information easy to follow and understand. I feel I learned a lot about my condition and how I can try to turn things around and I would urge anyone who is offered this service to attend the sessions.

    Following my recent annual review. I was informed that my cholesterol was high & my risk for a stroke or heart attack was 15% over the next 10 years. I was given the opportunity to discuss this with a practitioner before deciding to go on a statin. I was also advised that I was pre diabetic at this review & was given the opportunity to attend a pre diabetic / diabetic group session. I attended & my eyes were opened. It was extremely informative & will certainly help me to make a lot of changes to my diet & lifestyle. I am looking forward to the next group session. I feel that the surgery are making every effort to give me a good quality of life

    Over Christmas and New Year I needed a number of emergency appointments and telephone advice for both my parents. Every member of staff who dealt with us was understanding, helpful and caring. Best of all was the time afforded to us and the effort made to provide us with the best possible outcome at the time. From booking appointments to consultations and from medication changes to pharmacy collections every step was professional, friendly and timely. I cannot thank you all enough for your support during difficult times.

    Had a blood test she was gentle and was just amazing and kind. It didn’t hurt and she made me feel at ease. Highly recommend and I was in and out in no time
