I rang just before 9am seeking an appointment. I was 9th in the queue so opted for a call back which came back promptly. I was offered an appointment at 10am with a Senior Nurse Practitioner who was triaging patients. I took the appointment, was thoroughly examined and prescribed medication. I am so impressed that 2 days after New Year's Day I got an appointment within an hour. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful when I described my symptoms.

So difficult to get the required help. Numerous attempts to book an appointment. Over 20 in the queue on most occasions. No call back received when accept that option. Econsult is always closed or full often even before the surgery opening times. Finally sent link to book an appointment but when open that there is none available. Emailed surgery and asked to send in photos. Had to chase them up to be sent the link. Prescribed something without even seeing me. Was also told they would follow up and review with me in a month (that was almost 3 months ago now and not heard from them). Prescription didn’t help and Condition has got worse so got to start the whole trying to contact them farce all over again. They stopped taking new patients a while ago obviously recognising the failings but have now resumed registrations despite no improvements.

I met with a lovely young doctor who actually listened. She carefully noted all I said and she asked if I had any questions. It was very refreshing to find someone who spoke clearly (I have hearing problems) and made an effort to communicate well.

Had blood test with nurse whose attitude was very abrupt and bordering on rude. This is the second time I have seen her and my previous experience was no better.

A Nurse gave me 2 routine vaccines, one in each arm. She was very gentle and informative. The appointment was kept to time. The surgery was clean and tidy.

It can be difficult to get an appointment at this practice, though I think this is likely the case in many surgeries at the moment. Today we saw a DR after submitting a case through e consult. Overall I think e consult is a brilliant idea, though you need to wait a few days for a response . We waited about a week for a contact back but did get an appointment with the Dr after filling in the e consult form. The DR was really knowledgeable and explained things really clearly so we could understand next steps. He was also really good with my son, who is non verbal autistic.

I had a blood test on19th March which was quickly done and painless. The nurse operative was very efficient, and the test was soon completed satisfactorily. I did not have to see other staff members.

No names mention wanting to book an appointment but the receptionist has to go and ask a doctor how draft, it should be up to the patient if the want to come and see a doctor in private Then u asking the receptionist some questions and they don’t have a clue Very shoddy way service Not a good way to start 2/1/2025 avisford
