A Nurse gave me 2 routine vaccines, one in each arm. She was very gentle and informative. The appointment was kept to time. The surgery was clean and tidy.

It can be difficult to get an appointment at this practice, though I think this is likely the case in many surgeries at the moment. Today we saw a DR after submitting a case through e consult. Overall I think e consult is a brilliant idea, though you need to wait a few days for a response . We waited about a week for a contact back but did get an appointment with the Dr after filling in the e consult form. The DR was really knowledgeable and explained things really clearly so we could understand next steps. He was also really good with my son, who is non verbal autistic.

I had a blood test on19th March which was quickly done and painless. The nurse operative was very efficient, and the test was soon completed satisfactorily. I did not have to see other staff members.

Awful, awful, awful The phones rings, rings, and rings. Then my app informs me: 'The call centre has hung up!!' Argh.. I waited 30 minutes to speak to a receptionist just to be told they have not received my email request for a fit note which was sent in November!

On hold for 30 minutes waiting to speak to a receptionist. Told there are no appointments left for today (even though when I rang the lines had only been open for 5 mins) Told to complete form online for potential appointment next week (i can't stand on my ankle!) Or call back again at 0830hrs tomorrow and hope for an appointment tomorrow And the website says they are taking on more patients. Disaster.

My wife and I attended for a Flu jab yesterday and we were very impressed by the efficiency of the process. The Staff were very welcoming and helpful and made it easy for everyone attending. This was especially commendable as they had given up their weekend time to do this. A big thank you to you all at Avisford Medical Centre.
