I am so angry I get to my appointment 14 mins early...I am kept waiting for 5 mins...lovely consultation with the gp registrar who i must confess was a further breath of fresh air having had a phone consultationthe day before...told I need to give a stool sample...then oops the order comes system is not working after about 10 mins I am told to leave sample ar reception and the paperwork will be done when the system is back up by the Dr. Receptionist says No I can either wait for it to come back up or come back I ask her name and tell her I am the customer...thier system has failed and not me and therefore I am doing g neither as I approach the bin to throw out the sample I tell her to tell the doctor that I am not coming back...a few minutes later I get a call the system is back I should come back a d label the samples..they are in the bin i respond..why does the practice not have a paper back up process for eventualities like this ? It takes no effort to place sealed samples in a bin for processing when labels can be printed...an unfortunate reminder of why I stopped using the practice..just when there was a glimmer of hope..

Back in June I had a burnout at work, problem which has been immediately addressed with doctor over the phone. I literally found myself crying with her over the phone when I started to realise that I needed help to pass this period. Dr immediately helped with some times to recover my problem, gave me right medication to sleep, sleep was one of the 3 massive problem I had in that period and she also gave me the idea to follow up with a therapist. Dr followed up week by week to understand if I was recovering and she was extremely helpful. After medication, and with the help of a therapist, I’m a way better than a month ago. Thanks for the help and your support.
