  1. Review titled Rude

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Robyn - Posted on 12 June 2024

Most of the people in this practice are really nice and helpful. My first doctors appointment since it’s been taken over and it was horrendous. The doctor was looking at me up and down non stop, which was pretty rude if you ask me. Sounded like she didn’t really care about my issues, said I’m nearly 30 I should be able to deal with it myself. It has been an issue in my life since I was a teenager and asking why I’ve only booked an appointment now…..I had already booked about 5 appointments to sort this after previous medication I was advised I can’t take anymore. Either which they never contacted me or my appointment was canceled. Don’t know how you can have someone like that working in a practice, there’s a way to talk to people and that’s not one of them. Again I’ll probably have to ring up to book another appointment with someone else who hopefully knows what they are talking about and point me in the right direction!

  3. Review titled Can't get an appointment, as usual.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 March 2024

My mother (80's) called on Friday to get an appointment. She was told to call back Monday at 8:00. She has been on the phone for over an hour. She finally got through, and there are no appointments left. She was told to call back tomorrow. This is shocking treatment. We will probably be going to A & E. So, are you only booking appointments for that day? I assume so your waiting lists look fabulous. Well done!!

  4. Review titled Appointment is far too far away

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 March 2024

Called this morning to book an appointment as I have significant back up high between the shoulder blades. Explained my mother had recently passed away due to bone cancer which was diagnosed following a complaint of neck pain and that i was extremely anxious because of this. The NHS website states "Ask for an urgent GP appointment or get help from 111 if: You have back pain and the pain is coming from the top of your back (between your shoulders), rather than your lower back" The offered appointment is 4 weeks away! This just isn't acceptable

I am sorry to hear that you were unable to get an urgent appointment when you contacted the Surgery. Unfotunately, as your review is anonymous, I am unable to contact you directly. However, if you would like to contact me by emailing the Surgery at gp.g82058@nhs.net I am sure I will be able to book an earlier appointment for you. I will also be able to listen to the original telephone conversation to see why an urgent appointment was not offered. Helen lakeland - Practice Manager.

So pleased this Surgery is back to how it used to be many years ago. Efficient team. Got an appointment on the same day as my call and a referral letter the next day. Absolutely first class service. Could Not fault it. Keep up the great work you are doing!

  7. Review titled Had to change doctors to be taken seriously

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Georgina - Posted on 27 June 2024

I took my son to Aylesford Medical center in November 2023 with a concern about his hearing and the doctor rubbed his fingers around my son's ears and said "can you hear that" my son said yes and I was told. I think he's just being naughty! After constantly not being able to get appointments I changed doctors surgery and took my son back regarding his hearing he was referred immediately and has now had a diagnosis of severe glue ear! To be told your son is just being naughty and not taken seriously is disgusting and resulted in his diagnosis being delayed by 6 months he is also being referred now to ear nose and throat as there are other symptoms displaying of something else going on. This doctors surgery is the worst I've ever experienced!

  10. Review titled Amazing service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Tracy C - Posted on 09 August 2023

The receptionist was very helpful when she booked me this appointment a few weeks ago and the reception team were nice and polite when I booked in . I was very impressed with the new GP, he was very kind, understanding and I felt he really listened to me, I came away with a referral that I feel is much needed and a positive outlook that we have a great surgery.
