    Please avoid this practise, cold unhelpful reception staff. With all practices there are difficulties getting appointments but it is how you are treated. On two occasions I have been close to tears in the surgery because of mix up on my prescription, I just felt absolutely frustrated with the lack of support and poor communication. I have now transferred to a new practise.

    Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback but It would really have helped if you had raised your complaint properly. I am however aware following other posts you have made that we had in fact tried on several occasions to help with your queries. The prescription clerks have discussed medication issues with you.     Calls take forever to answer and when you get through they tell you they have no appointments. A number of times I ring exactly on 8am to be in a queue of over 30 people. After holding for between 40 & 50mins you get a rude receptionist telling you there is no appointments and you can't pre-book appointments, so they tell you to ring back the next day- well this isn't conducive for people who work outside of Worcester. Most sensible practices allow advanced bookings within the same!

    We are sorry you've experienced longer than average waiting times to get through to us on the telephone; we are dealing with an unprecedented demand in primary care at the moment. We do have an amount of pre-bookable appointments to offer, but these can be some weeks ahead. We have enhanced access appointments available to all patients registered at Worcester City practices, but this may mean not being seen at your own surgery location.     Rather than join a phone queue, I used the online contact form to explain my non urgent circumstances and concerns. Someone contacted me from the surgery within 3 hours and I was given an appointment for a couple of days after that with a physician associate. Following discussion with a GP they then arranged tests as needed. It was all very efficient
