I recently had a face to face appointment with perhaps the most caring and compassionate GP I have ever encountered. This is the first time I have needed to see a GP in many years and thought getting an appointment might have proved difficult but it really wasn’t. Fortunately I rarely need to visit the practice but whenever I have I’ve been treated with kindness and respect. My only negative is the telephone system. A while ago this did improve and you had the option to press for a call back rather than a long wait on hold. This helpful option seems to be no longer available which is a shame.

Just been in and kept waiting while 2 of them chatted with someone they knew about diet, what she eats, where’s she’s going etc! Only me in waiting to speak to them. They then said did I want something, like I was in there for the fun of it. I said yes to be served. About 12.10 this happened. More important to leave me and have a good gossip. Absolutely appalling service
