Rude receptionists, no follow ups and a lack of care. To sum this place up! You can never get an appointment. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment be prepared to wait 20-40 minutes to be seen. Avoid this place if you can. One practitioner carried out an assessment using his mobile phone. Very unprofessional and dangerous! The outcome of the assessment was inaccurate and had to later use an out of hours GP. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I have been with the surgery since moving here in November 2022. I had a letter from my Psychiatrist advising my GP that i needed to be referred to another psychiatrist on arrival in my new town. My GP has refused to refer me on the grounds that they do not have enough information regarding my condition? They have 36 years of medical history!!! I am disgusted with the service and have gone from seeing a psychiatrist every 3 months to waiting for 6 months with still no appointment in place!!

Can never get a appointment booked at this place in the morning, the receptionist is rude and will not help you! Avoid if you can!I have high blood sugar, I was supposed to have a phone appointment with the doctor at 1.00 no one called no access to the doctor and no respect for time

Just want to give doctor perrea a mention he is 100% the best doctor I have had always listens to your concerns thoroughly and without hesitation gets on things straight away and always right with his outcomes Very professional Puts you at ease straight Makes you feel comfortable Best doctor by far

I called at 0800 am needing an emergency doctor's appointment and I had an appointment for 10.20 the same day. I was seen by a wonderful young doctor who was sympathetic and knowledgeable. She diagnosed my condition correctly and efficiently and had Emergency medication sent to my pharmacy and I had my medicine at 11.30 that morning. I have fully recovered and can't thank Barton hills surgery enough.
