  1. Review titled Best GP Practice I've ever been to!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 17 June 2024

I have recently moved to this area and GP practice. I have been simply amazed at the level of care my family and I have received. From the reception staff (who are warm and polite), to the health professionals we engaged with.... everyone is invested and interested in making sure we are heard and look after. The Practice is clean and the atmosphere is light and easy. The best primary care experience I have had in the last 24 years and would highly recommend the practice to anyone... they are just supperb. My kids felt heard and supported by the team and felt able to trust the team. The professionals showed interest and listened to them. Signposting was effective and followed up. Support was also offered to me. Never been treated so well in a practice.

  2. Review titled Worst practice

I paid for medical report form to be filled in by one of the doctor back in late February this year, tfl sent back the form because the doctor has not filled in all the information that was needed, tfl gave me 28 days, I have been to the GP and the form was taken from me at the reception and was promised that the same doctor will fill in and inform as soon as possible when it is done, I have waited for 2 weeks, I went back to check and all I am told is the same line, to be honest if the practice cares about the people that visit their practice they must hold accountable the people at the reception because all I have experienced is rudeness and unprofessional on how they dealt with me and they other patients, talking over them, showing no care of that they same and very dismissive, last week one the lady at the reception I was trying to explain to her my case since she was not aware and she was dismissing me and showing me she is not interested in listening to me, sometimes I could see that the patients and more professional then the receptionists. I hope there is someone at the practice who is taking their management seriously and making sure people are not mistreated that visit the practice. However if my medical form is done this time around correctly I will definitely leave the practice and I will not advice the new comes to come to this practice. Thank you.

  3. Review titled Caring Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Pauline Dennemont - Posted on 16 May 2023

I had to make an appointment to be seen by a Dr. I phoned the practice and spoke to a very helpful and understanding receptionist. She explained that there wasn’t an appointment for that day but one for the following day. I was able to take that appointment. The receptionist was polite and professional and understanding in her manner. In coming to the surgery the receptionists were very welcoming, friendly and caring. I took a seat in the waiting area. While I was waiting there was clearly a patient who wasn’t well. The receptionist were so caring to her and looked after her and reassured her that the Dr would be with her soon. It was good to see. It was my turn to see the Dr. In explaining my situation I felt listened to, heard and cared for. The Dr asked me my opinion and helped me make decisions on my treatment going forward. Thank-you Battersea Fields for being there for us, which I am sure isn’t an easy job sometimes.

My mother-in-law is registered with Battersea Fields Practice and has been for many many years. She is now very elderly and has some health issues. The doctors and receptionists have been brilliant, I cannot fault them. The doctors are really looking after her and I am so very grateful to them. Thank you so much

  5. Review titled Worst experience ever had with a GP

Rated 1 star out of 5

Receptionist keeps promising a Dr will phone with results and they don’t! When you phone back they say that receptionist isn’t in! Phone back at 8am tomorrow done that for 3 days and the doctor has requested that I phone for the results! But the receptionist won’t pass on any message! It’s absolutely disgusting, as the receptionist says you need to speak with the doctor but won’t book an appointment till end of April 3.5 weeks away, but the doctor message says it’s urgent! Can’t get past useless receptionist!

  6. Review titled Lack of quality patient care and attention

Rated 1 star out of 5

This GP practice is the worst I have had the misfortune to experience. I registered recently and after three months I will leave. The practice is badly run. They have the services but receptionist staff are not doctors. They have no clue of medical conditions but are left to make decisions about who can get appointments and see a doctor, which is dangerous. Twice I was refused appointments and only when I insisted did I see the doctor and was sent straight to hospital. Receptionists are rude, you cannot make an appointment, call at 8am hold on until 9am and then told there are no appointments and to call the next day at 8am or are referred to online appointments which have at least eight or even 16 weeks wait. Or you are told to come in at 8 to get an appointment for later. This is backwards and was done in the 1970s not today. I have interacted with other patients who also complain of the same thing. If there are not enough doctors they should stop taking new patients.
