Review titled Great changes
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Debbie Pinder - Posted on 10 July 2024
If I went back 12/18 months ago I was so disappointed by this surgery, from lack of communication to often very abrupt receptionist, however what a great change over the last year, you get quick responses super helpful reception team and I always feel listened too, I have received an appointment when necessary and felt fully supported when I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease the beginning of the year, I would highly recommend Beacon medical and all the doctors who work there.. a personal thank you to my doctor who I feel totally at ease with and his lovely manner..

Having feeling very nervous for my appointment all day, the nurse I had was absolutely amazing. She put me at ease, made me laugh and reassured me every step of the way.

I required a minor procedure to be carried out by a GP. I was given a date for thus within 2 hours of my initial examination. The procedure was carried out efficiently and with care in a friendly and non-invasive manner.

Review titled Prompt action
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 10 July 2024
The call placed was answered on the next working day by our nominated gp. The request was actioned promptly including a further supply of the tablets which was good as it saved a further request. The prescription team has been especially helpful , considerate and quick when responding to the many requests we put through. Thank you and well done

Review titled Good service over many years
Rated 5 stars out of 5

initially requested appointment online. Rapid response with a date for phone call. At this point i must say i am not a fan of the “you will get a phone call sometime on the chosen day.” Waited until 1700 this time. However, when called the doctor was friendly, polite and gave me a very clear diagnosis. Absolutely no complaint there and it remains my surgery of choice.

Review titled Poor Practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Yvonne Harrison - Posted on 14 July 2024
After suffering four over four months with an issue and trying to get an appointment ended up getting an E consult. Doctor phoned 2 weeks later. Stated all the things I’d tried to resolve issue , told her it was getting worse so was prescribed Cetraben for my lips. What can I say! Out of desperation when again to another pharmacist who I must say was fantastic. Gave mr s face to face appointment and immediately said I had an infection and needed an antibiotic cream for my lips which has worked wonders. But said I have an underlying issue that needs following up with blood tests. Shame that now puts it back in Beacon Medical hands again!
