Review titled Really helpful and prompt treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5

The eConsult service was easy to use. Although the response time was slower, once I received a call my issue was addressed and I was given helpful advice and a prescription. The GP was very friendly and nice.

Book a GP call for review to get my repeat prescription put back on system. No call recieved. I have very limited time due to work start before open hours and finish after hours. All I want is my repaet prescriptions to be put on system so I can get my medication.

Doctor was very professional, had pains in the chest and down the left arm and diagnosed a pulled muscle within the rib cage, I was worried because I had a quadruple heart bypass three years previous, So, really put my mind at rest.

After telephoning I got an appointment to see a nurse as requested. Saw nurse within 48 hours and was very happy with the way I was dealt with. I thoroughly commend the nurses at this practice.

I was in a lot of pain with a re occurrence of gout Rang the doctor on 21 June they said a doctor could call me on 5 July said that is too late then they said the doctor will ring the same day. Only when I got the call the doctor was very rude and said it was gout ( which I know it was as I have had it a lot of time ) how can they let when they won’t ever see you. I will never bother to ring again

Review titled Awful service

It's ridiculous that you can't even make an appointment to see a doctor over the phone. Having woken up with a swollen neck, which is obviously something which needed to be examined, I was disgusted to be told by a very unempathetic receptionist that I can't make an appointment over the phone, instead I have to fill out an online form and wait for a call back in the next 2 days. When said call back finally came, I was told I must come in and be seen. They could have just believed me when I said I needed to be seen when I called in and was fobbed off with their silly online form. Patients are treated as if they have no common sense, as if we will ask to be seen when we don't need to be. When I was actually seen the nurse and doctor were very nice, I have no complaints about their service, but the system to get an appointment when you need one is beyond a joke. An old person who isn't good with computers would not be able to fill out the silly online form, and to be honest, when you are worried about your health filling out streams if questions online is the last thing you feel like doing. It is a shame beacon medical have the monopoly on GP practices in this area too, so residents have no choice but to use their shoddy service. Bring back being able to make an appointment over the phone and receptionists who actually care.
