I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bedford Hill Family Practice, and I can't say enough about the incredible front desk receptionists and the amazing GPs. From the moment I walked in, the receptionists greeted me with warm smiles and professionalism, making the check-in process a breeze. They were attentive, answering all my questions and ensuring I felt comfortable. The GPs here are simply outstanding. They take the time to listen, understand my concerns, and provide thorough explanations. Their knowledge and compassionate approach make every visit a positive experience. It’s evident that the entire team at Bedford Hill is dedicated to patient care. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a welcoming environment with top-notch medical expertise! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently visited Bedford Hill Family Practice and was impressed by the exceptional service from a young girl in a headscarf at the front desk. Her warm greeting and professionalism put us at ease right away. She efficiently registered my mother, expertly handling paperwork and phone calls while assisting other patients. She also booked us a convenient appointment. The doctors were equally impressive—knowledgeable and compassionate. She took the time to listen to my mother’s concerns. Overall, the excellent front desk service combined with the doctors' professionalism made for a reassuring experience.

I was contacted by the GP to make a non-urgent appointment and used the E consult service to book. I was given a face to face appointment very quickly and the doctor was extremely helpful. My whole family has always received excellent care at this practice and we all feel very spoiled and grateful

The nature , kindness, politeness, efficiency and extra effort of the receptionist this morning was far beyond expectations making what could have been embarrassing experience a pleasure I’m one patient who will happy to return to the surgery for what ever reason if this is to be the way patients are treated, thank you, Pamela.

I called up at 8am to book a GP appointment for my 5- year old son. Asked for a face to face and was given a 10am slot. No issues with this. I arrived with my son at 9.45 and registered. Sat waiting. At 10.45 I asked why the delay and the receptionist confirmed I was confirmed and should be soon. 11.15 (90 mins after arriving) I was told that the appointment would be by telephone and not face to face. I asked if I could be squeezed in but was given a blunt No. Then was told I would be called by 6pm. I saw how some of the people there (some elderly) were spoken to and treated. Shocking. This is my 3rd visit where it gets worse. I will be moving to another practice. Awful Practice.

Dear patient. Thank you for your feedback and am really sorry that you had a poor experience at Bedford Hill Family Practice. We always strive to do our best to help patients and are saddened when things don't go as planned. As discussed with you over the telephone, we were notified by the out of our service that you needed to contact the surgery within 24 hours. After receiving the message from the out of hours service, a GP tried to call you on two separate occasions that day to triage and get more information about your son, but unfortunately the call went straight to voice mail. Again, I'm really sorry you felt let down, but am glad that your son was seen by a GP. If you would like to discuss further, please call the surgery and ask for the Practice Manager. We use patient feedback as an opportunity for reflection and learning and will no doubt do the same with your feedback. Kind Regards Practice Manager

The GPs at this practice are generally good, but are badly let down by extremely poor communication via the administrators. One example of this is that I was told twice last week that I needed a GP consultation to change the formulation of a medicine I regularly take, only to discover today that my request had actually been processed already and a prescription had been waiting at the pharmacy for me for a week. I have been in desperate need of this medicine. No one thought it necessary to tell me that this had been done, despite having been in correspondence on this matter all week. This is just one in a list of examples of similarly poor communication from this practice. For this reason I cannot recommend Bedford Hill Family Practice to new patients.

I contacted the GP via the link to an on line form on which I described my symptoms. A GP rang me and arranged a face to face appointment that morning. I was reassured to be seen so promptly. I was suffering from a persistent high temperature headache and rash.
