Had an appointment face to face with a doctor last minute regarding worrying symptoms. The GP listened and reacted to the issues and had effective communication throughout. A wonderful bedside manner.

They make you do athletics (mostly hurdles) before you can get an appointment. The fact that the phone message says they will help if you are unable to fill in an online form, and then they refuse despite you telling them that the entire family has a viral infection (and I was aching all over {I've also sweated the entire night before of it} and my daughter has a severe ear infection due to it {we had to go the Wansbeck Hospital}). A pharmacist might prescribe something that affects our liver condition (again, the entire family has it) … hence why we have to see a GP. On another occasion, my son had pains in his lower right abdomen which could have been appendicitis, and the surgery offered us an appointment in 3 weeks time. 111 to the reason on both these occasions. They also sent text messages to my husband and me for health checks. We viewed the links and no appointments were available. If you need to see a doctor, phone 111 because they are more helpful.

Minimum waiting time. Comprehensive consultation. Courteous and helpful reception staff. Description of follow up arrangements. Exceeded all expectations.

only been with this practise short time first time i asked for appointment as i needed an urgent appointment i couldn't get one so had to go to rake lane out of hours where I was seen straight away. dr was lovely and very thorough they couldn't believe the earliest appointment with a gp offered to me for an urgent natrer was 3rd jan 2025 not fit for purpose

I recently had my flu vaccine. I was well recieved and did not have to wait even tho i was early. I did not feel any pain on getting the jab. I have always relieved good care at Bedlingtonshire Medical Group. Staff are always friendly, kind and caring as well as being willing to help.

Had to see one of the nurses on 6/9 for a review she explained everything to me regarding medication and also gave me information regarding questions I asked regarding a previous visit and pointed me in the right direction regarding the nhs app which she didn’t need to do She was very helpful
