    I am very grateful for the help I have received today at the surgery. The doctor I saw is extremely professional and very thorough. It is the person you see who makes all the difference. Completely restored my faith in the NHS. Definitely the best doctor I have ever seen.

    As always the doctors and staff I have seen have been able to sort out my problems with patience and understanding. This last appointment, I was concerned it was trivial but the doctor put me at ease and I couldn’t have had better treatment

    I have been a patient at this Benhill GP practice for approximately 20 years, and during this time, I cant remember ever asking for a sick note to cover any sick leave period, until recently due to me having two hernia operation while as a kidney dialysis patient. What bothers me is that I did the right and honest thing 13th May 2024 by informing my GP Surgery that I would be changing address and moving to a different location. I received an email reply on the 13th May 2024, stating that I would need to register with a GP Surgery in my new area and my records will be sent over once I register at a new surgery. Due to my illness I haven't been able to register with a new GP due to being warded at the hospital and in severe pain. I noticed that my current sick note was expiring and I phoned the GP surgery for a sick leave extension, since my medical records was still within the surgery possession, both receptionist were very rude and noisy also condescending in their attitude, showing no empathy as a GP practice what so ever, even as I tried to explained my circumstance and illness. I was hung up on two occasion when I first called the surgery and the second time when I called back. When I asked to speak to the Practice Manager I was told that she was in a meeting and would call me back, to which I am still waiting. I don't believe that I should have been treated in this manner, after all I just wanted was a sick leave extension.

    Dear Mr Green, Thank you for your feedback. However this is factually incorrect. I have discussed this with you at length on the telephone and resolved your query. You did in fact change address prior to March 2024 and we have written evidence of this. We had provided you adequate time to register with a new GP. Unfortunately we are not able to support patients outside our practice area indefinitely due to excessive demand and capacity. We extended your registration at the end of May to support your request for an additional sick note. I also provided with you with the details of how to find a new GP. You agreed that this review was inaccurate and you would remove. You also advised that you were very happy with the support provided. However unfortunately removal of your inaccurate post has not occurred. I am sorry but subsequently I have had no option but to respond. Many thanks Dawn Dennis - Practice Manager

    An efficient friendly service, the doctors I have seen recently have been kind caring and listened to my needs and dealt with them appropriately. Have never had a problem getting an appointment either on phone or face to face. If I need to be seen I get put in same day. Ordered a script last night at 7pm last night and received a text from my nominated pharmacy at 9 this morning to say it was ready to pick up- great efficient service.

    I have been registered here for many years and have a number of long term health conditions. I have always found the service from all of the team to be great. Following a recent visit, where I needed to see a GP, the receptionist listened to my problem and booked me a telephone call for the next day. The GP called within the allocated time frame as advised. Thank you and keep up the good work.

    I called the gp today and the receptionist was very rude and nosey, I was calling to book an appointment for my 12 week old son and his breathing and I was told that his breathing is not an urgent matter and that it can wait for the next appointment which is in 2 weeks time, it’s absolutely ridiculous! She was trying to say what it could be and all for I know she is a receptionist not a doctor! I am very very unhappy with the experience I have had today!

    Dear Patient, I am very sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service provided by the practice. Our team answering the telephones are Care Navigators and have had training to enable them to signpost patients to appropriate services. Unfortunately we only have have a limited daily emergency capacity and when this is reached to remain safe, and provide the best service for our patients we do sometimes have to signpost to alternative NHS resources. I am very sorry that you were not happy on this occasion. If you would like to contact me directly I would be more than happy to investigate your direct concerns further. Unfortunately despite much research within our recorded call system I am not able to identify your call or the situation to which you refer anonymously, however as said, I would be more than happy to follow up if you feel this would be helpful.     Telephone staff gives misinformation about the timing after checking in the system so I had to go through again the booking process and they don’t care about it. very poor service by the staff not showing interest on the patients concern.

    This GP has very rude staff. Called regarding an issue with my foot, in which a concerning growth was getting larger and was accompanied by pain. Eventually the GP arranged a phone appointment (inappropriate as you need to visually inspect the affected area). Was told to send images to the doctor via a snail address that was alledgly on their website which it was not. Called again to get the email only to be given an incorrect email. Doctor asked me to remind them in case they forget in 2 weeks time. Very dismissive. I would not recommend this GP.

    I am a new patient, and have had a great experience so far. I reported a health concern on Jan 4th, within 3 weeks I have had blood tests, follow up appointment in person, and a referral to a hospital appointment. The GP in person appointment lasted over 20 mins, and the doctor listened to a few different concerns. Highly recommend.
