    They have a new online booking service between 8am and midday for a same day phone appointment. Works brilliantly and frees up everyone's time.

    Unable to contact the Dr to get help for my 100 year old mother who is suffering with Diarrhea - phoned 111 at approx 10am. They were able to get through. Dr prescribed medicine that is no longer available (according to the Pharmacist) it is now 5.45pm. still can't get through to the Dr to get a new prescription from a chemist that is still open and my mother is still suffering!! I am at a loss what should I do now.

    Let me say first of all that all of the staff and doctors are really pleasant and the doctors I have met have been fantastic. However, the regular complaints are true - two hours queueing on the phone to make an appointment, confusion about who can make what sort of appointments, no staff at the reception, despite the fact that six people are sitting behind the glass. The line which is dedicated for speaking with a secretary is switched off and the recorded message telling you to call back between the opening hours - even though you are calling during the opening hours, the online services being "paused". Two positives to call out are the online routine appointment booking and the call back service on the appointment line - but apart from that the administration in this practice is in the dark ages - you cannot blame the pandemic for any of this - it is just that they need a decent practice manager who has the resources necessary to run it effectively and efficiently. Why does a referral letter take more than 8 days from a doctor telling you to come back to collect it in a week - Stupid waste of time for all concerned. A great surgery unless you expect to want to see a doctor!!

    I have been calling since 8am this morning, I was on the phone for 120 minutes got to number 1 in the que and then got hung up on! I am trying to speak to someone in regards to my father and just get hung up on. How very unprofessional of the so called staff at this doctors surgery! Then trying to go into the surgery to speak to someone to be told to call the practice well yes but then we get hung up on..... Absolute joke!!!

    Have been on hold for 2 hours and still nowhere near the front of the queue. Getting an appointment with this service really is impossible. Not allowed to walk in and make an appointment either. Whenever I have been in the surgery there are no phones ringing and no one on or behind reception? So unsure what is going on. Will be registering with a new practice. It's also mad to me that this surgery is taking on new patients when they clearly cannot provide an efficient service for existing patients!

    It's impossible to get through on the phone lines... I suspect they leave it off the hook. An hour to get through to order an urgent prescription that I can't order online because its not a repeat prescription. They have too many patients/refugees and can't cope with demand. Get more phone staff!!! The music is the same horrendous jazz piano over and over again it's enough to drive anyone mad!! I'm going to move surgery, this has to be the worst one in Hemel. Sort it out!!!! Why are you making it so difficult for people to get help?!
