I am so lucky to be at Bentham road health centre. The staff are very helpful and always put themselves second to the patients needs, getting appointments at a GP is hard these days and when I talk to my family at other practices, they can't believe the service I tell them about at Bentham road. They understand their responsibility to the local community and their hard work and effort deserves a reward. I just wanted to convey my thanks and appreciation to an incredible place made up of incredible people.

Unfortunately I have had to visit my doctors over the last 4weeks with 4 separate appointment and never been refused an appointment on the same day I rang excellent receptionists doctors nurse practioners and nurses 5star service over all

My father is a patient at the practice. Over the last six months he has been unwell with different issues. I have had to contact the practice several times for an appointment or advise. The reception staff are always very polite and helpful and I have always either been given a telephone consultation or a face to face appointment for that day. The clinical staff are very caring and professional and I feel this practice really care about patient care and well being.

Tried to contact today regards reveiw appointments letter, impossible. Select 6 as required 4 cycles then disconnects. Absolutely nowhere to complain as its all designed to keep patients at arms length. Cant even find a complaints section for Cornerstone themselves.

I rang up the practice in a bit of a panicked state & needing an appointment. Not only did the wonderful receptionist go out of her way to give me an appointment for the next day but she also knew the follow up the doctor would want me to have! GP said he would need me to book to see the nurse for tests but the receptionist had already booked me an appointment for straight after the GP appointment! This was fantastic! Has saved me a lot of worry and stress! It’s staff like these that are competent & have empathy that restore your faith in our gp practices!

I went into the surgery today to get a list of my current medications plus my Significant Active Problems, a Summary Printout was printed and I was shocked that a current problem I am experiencing is in my past problems. I need my information to be up to date. If you are applying for anything medical this can cause a problem as clearly my records are not correct. Thus now meaning I will have to ring up tomorrow to speak to a GP as I need this for medical evidence. Is there anyway this can be addressed? I am aware of how Emis works as I have had GP land working experience’s. It was a major problem. Probably still is. Our record should be up to date at all times.. I am not one to complain, but feel that this needs to be addressed. Maybe you could discuss this at any meetings you have, so that the clinical & non clinical team aware. This information is crucial and needs to be correct Feedback would be appreciated Lisa Grogan

I called the surgery today due to my 8 month old being unwell, spoke to a young man who I have spoken to on numerous occasions and has always been super professional but equally very helpful and understanding. He listened fully to my concerns and got straight on to a GP and managed to squeeze us in for a face to face appointment. Always has a smile on his face but mainly just always appears to have so much empathy and really listens to patients. Couldn’t be more grateful! Moved surgeries due to moving area around 3 years ago and Bentham road practice has been the most effective surgery I have visited.
