Told I needed an appointment at Weight management clinic, given appointment. 10 minutes later appointment cancelled. Promised to ring back with new appointment. No contact. Rang again told I already had appointment today at 1.40 - email confirmation received. Attended at appointed time only to be told no appointment had been made. No further appointment can be mad e at this time. A five year old had better management skills.

You can never get an appointment at this surgery in any hurry. I visited the urgent care center with very bad nerve pain in my hand and wrist. Waited for an hour and a half before being seen, even though there were only 2 people before me, only to be told to see my g.p . The receptionist told me I wouldn't be able to see my g.p until 2 days later even though I was In excruciating pain. Asked me to fill out some forms which I couldn't do because my writing hand was the hand affected. She refused to help me fill out the forms resulting in me having to leave the surgery without any treatment. I have changed surgery now due to this. Avoid this surgery and the urgent care center at redcar primary care hospital. Save your time and call 111 or go to james cook hospital if you want treatment for pain as nobody wanted to help me.

Ordered medication over Bank Holiday Weekend. knew they wouldreceive it on the Tuesday, Thursday went to chemist, not actioned, Friday went to chemist not actioned, rang GP - sorry will do it today Friday. Following Mondays still no medication, another 20 minute wait on the phone to find out now referred to nurse who is not in today. They will action it tomorrow. Thank goodness the nurse is not on sick leave as i dont think i would ever received prescription if there is a problem with a prescription request why can't the surgery contact me instead of leaving me in limbo for over a week..Its basic customer service which seems to be totally lacking.

Having had some bad experiences with my old practice . I found receptions very helpful something my old doctors where not good at , got to see a Doctor the same day again old practice was difficult to see or speak to a doctor I regularly have to get blood sample . The blood nurse is very good and not bruised my arm once in the 4 months I’ve been with the Bentley practice , every has been helpful
