  1. Review titled Prescriptions

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Lea - Posted on 30 December 2024

I think myself very lucky to be at Bewbush medical center. I rarely visit the GP but when I've needed to I have never had a problem with appointments. The receptionist I normally see who was there today 30th December is lovely. The only trouble I have and complaint is the prescription service. It's a joke! I've been told I can't drive and need rest but I'm backwards and forwards from the pharmacy to the surgery. The pharmacy just do not have my prescription. This isn't resting. What happened to paper?

  2. Review titled Rude receptionist

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I phoned today and the receptionist that answered was rude from the beginning. From the tone of her voice I was a major inconvenience to her and whilst talking to her about my appointment she hung up on me before I was finished. I wasn't being rude I was talking to her politely. There was no need for her attitude towards me as I was polite all the way through. If she's like this to everyone she is definitely in the wrong job and needs to change her attitude

  3. Review titled Great receptionist

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Bewbush has an exceptional receptionist who goes above and beyond for every patient. Since becoming pregnant last year I have had to use the GP much more and she has always been a happy and friendly part of my experience. She gives me a full explanation of anything that is happening without myself feeling silly for asking questions. She is extremely polite and just makes the experience so much better. I came today with my newborn for an appointment with my other half who also got to experience her customer service skills with ourselves and everyone else coming into the surgery. I can leave to move to a close GP but do not want to as she makes the experience much more bearable so am keen to stay where I am just for her. I wanted her to be acknowledged for the amazing job she does.

  4. Review titled Outstanding practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I went to the drs today to collect blood form and while there I explained I needed a face to face appointment. The receptionist was extremely helpful and gave me an appointment for 1215 today. I attended my appointment and the Dr, who was so good, sent me for an xray today too. All in all my whole experience today was 10/10. I was at the hospital not even an hour and had my xray and bloods done. Now waiting for a scan which will be 6 to 8 weeks. Thank you so much for the excellent service I received today both at the drs and Crawley hospital. I have never had an issue with either of these and just want to express my sincere appreciation.

  5. Review titled Helpful receptionist

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Because of my ongoing illness, I often have to ask my friend to contact the surgery. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the person who normally answers the phone, but sometimes because of my illness, some of my prescription requests are quite complex and urgent. This person has never been anything but, kind, understanding and extremely helpful. A real credit to the surgery. Thank you.

  6. Review titled Likely overworked and forgetting how to show care & empathy

Rated 1 star out of 5

I thank you for doing a job that puts you in the front line of a lot of aggression, grief, and sometimes even physical danger. I expect when you deal with this day in & day out your empathy levels and view of the human condition can get pretty jaded. You are also the front line for people at their most vulnerable, those who have finally reached a critical point of asking for the help they desperately need. Please be a decent to them, even when you have had a rough day. They may just be one in a pile of interactions you are working through, but it could be the one interaction they have that has the power to change the direction of their life. You have such a powerful and unique role in our world – please make it positive x
