  2. Review titled Awful Pratice, Shocking Management

Rated 1 star out of 5

Seriously Shocking service, replying to customer reviews by saying sorry we are more busy, is not an acceptable answer, rude staff, no appointments. Needs closing down, and where is the Regulator when you need them.

Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry that you feel we have not provided the service you were expecting but we are trying our best to see as many patients as we can, in a safe manner. There is an extreme demand on the NHS service locally and nationally. I am sorry to hear that you felt that one of our team members were rude, this is not our intention. I am happy to investigate this further but need further information. Please contact our complaints team via our website and we are happy to investigate your concerns further. Kind regards Debra Practice Manager

  3. Review titled Complete and utter rubbish

Rated 1 star out of 5

Can never get an appointment, reception staff are so rude and just keep referring to 111. A lot of management issues, I don’t know how this Pratice continues to run, failing the local community it’s supposed to serve, all funding should be withdrawn, think the CQC needs to come in and take over services urgently.

Thank you for your feedback. I am saddened to hear that you feel that our reception team have been rude, this is never our intention. The team work hard every day to try and help as many people as we can. In order for me to investigate further, please make contact with the team leaders at the practice and provide further information regarding the incident and we promise to investigate your concerns. With regards to the appointments, sadly, there is a national and local demand for GP appointments. We are trying to see as many patients as we can in a safe manner. Once again thank you for your feedback, it will be discussed at the next practice meeting.

Always really helpful and polite … friendly and have always helped when needed. Used call back and was better than waiting in a queue.

  5. Review titled Awful

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 17 April 2023

Telephone lines are always on a queue. Never any appointments. Emergency’s appointments never available and always advised to call 111 or go to walk in. Letters and paperwork requested from hospitals takes forever delaying treatments. The Dr’s are good - if you ever get to see one. But in the past 3 years I have only been able to get an appointment for my daughter under 4. I have not been seen for my health issues and have always had to go to walk-in or A&E after calling 111. Trying to make a complaint or speak to someone about the issues is impossible and the practice is failing the community by allowing standards to fall.

  7. Review titled Attrocious service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Called and 8:05 and pressed 1 to be in the que. Got a call back at 10:03 which I missed due to being at work and not being able to answer right away. Called back immediately: 'You are caller number 1 in the que''. So far I have been caller number 1 for 1 hour and 20 minutes. I have been trying to book an appointment to get a referral for over a week now. The appointments are always gone by the time the phone is answered, or they call back once my turn in the que comes. Been advised to go on NHS app to book the night before - nothing. Regardless of when you log on, there are no appointments on there ever. It's a shame that local GP surgeries are not taking patients, otherwise I would have left ages ago.

  8. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 April 2023

After not feeling well for a while I did the dreaded call to the doctors I was number 21 in qué took 8 mins which wasn't bad at all. I didn't expect to get an appointment but I spoke to a lovely lady who made me relax as I felt quite upset and up tight she was lovely. I got a telephone appointment that day. I spoke to a lovely doctor who went through all kinds of things at the end of the call I felt like I was getting somewhere to finally start feeling better. This morning I had a txt message saying book a telephone appointment. So I called again and was 6th in qué didn't take long this time I had a lovely lady again not sure if she was the same as the first but both were so nice and friendly we were even laughing on phone this morning. She sorted me out with an appointment within the next 2 weeks. I very rarely go to the doctors I'm a strong believer in not taking up appointments because I have just sneezed. But my experience was very very good from start to finish and in between. Thankyou so much Paula x sorry if there are spelling mistakes ect

  9. Review titled Terrible and we are new patients there

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Michael Paul green - Posted on 16 March 2023

Wife has been trying to get an appointment now since the 9th March 23 as she really needs to see a doctor about a health problem , ring every morning at 8am to be told all appointments are gone , its pathetic , no.33 in the queue and was told they have 90 places available each day but still can't get an appointment!!! Wished we had never transferred from our other doctors now , and the staff on the phones haven't got a clue what they are talking about , tbh might aswell close this doctors down as they never see patients

  10. Review titled Appalling Service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 14 March 2023

It seems that this surgery get worse each time i have to contact them!! Bombardment of texts that make no sense and the reception make excuses that is managed centrally. Following a blood test i am told i need to make an appointment re: my results. I visit the surgery in person to make an appointment told that an appointment in advance cant be made but would pass the request to the back office. Receive a text 3 days later to say my appointment has been cancelled due to staff shortage but i was never told that i actually had an appointment and nothing on nhs app to say i had an appointment Call up to make another appointment, after 1.5hours on the phone (having been cut off the first time) I get through and told i dont need an appointment as the doctor had called me and that I didnt have an appointment cancelled as it was a call back, I did have a call from the doctor however totally contradicted my results so i am at a loss as to my health! I cant make an appointment in advance and that i have to call back at 8am!! oh btw only 6 people answer the calls and all appointments gone by 8:05am so guess what we go back in the circle to call the following day at 8am...no wonder hospitals are under pressure its because people cant actually speak to a doctor or nurse! It seems each time you want to speak to the office manager they are in a meeting - how convenient! Today we have more doctors at the surgery and less appointments something is not working Since modality has been in charge its been a total disgrace of a service, only a small amount of people are satisfied and the rest are not but nothing is being done to address the many issues
