After several attempts to get an appointment I managed to do e-consult and the response was very quick. The only issue was as I had more than one medical concern I had to do 3 separate e-consults. I was given 2 face to face appointments and one phone call. This was OK but each was with a different GP. So I feel there is no continuity and this could have been dealt with in one consultation. I am mostly pleased with the outcome of the appointments. I had a thorough check and several blood test, so feel satisfied.

I went in for a blood sample before my time and was seen straight away, and was finished in minutes and was stress free thanks.

This is the second time I went to have blood drawn that I thought the person drawing the sample had little skill. The first attempt on one arm, she didn't use tourniquet. Then she applied a tourniquet, didn't release it and blood failed to flow. Then she tried the other arm. Applied the tourniquet first, then realised it and blood flowed.

Booking my appointment was easily done by telephone. The appointment was on time. The beside manner of the doctor was first class. The facilities at Blackthorn Health Centre are fit for purpose.

I submitted repeat prescription request. My fault it went to wrong practice. Needed prescription for booked holiday. Had immediate and successful result when I contacted surgery. Thank you so much to the practice and the pharmacy team. You saved my holiday!
