    I was supposed to have been referred for two consultations, for ophthalmology and dermatology on the 13th September 2024. I was assured that they would be sent that day. As I have heard nothing I contacted the outpatient booking line and was informed they have never received the referrals. I contacted the surgery to be told that they were awaiting the medical secretary to forward these but as she had been on holiday nothing had been done. These were supposed to be urgent as I have had a brain tumour which was detected by opthamology and previous visits to dermatology for suspected skin cancer. I was informed that the status could not be changed with seeing a GP but there are no appointments available either in person or telephone until the 30th October, 2024. Please do not register with this practice, they are completely useless and I can quite understand why they have been rated as inadequate by the Care Quality Commission.

    From calling 111 this morning to receiving a call from the surgery this morning to see the GP. I then came back a short time later for an urgent blood test with a lovely Nurse she was very professional and caring. I'm not the best person to get blood out of but she managed to first time. Thank you to all at the surgery for such excellent service in a very busy NHS service that we have. Really grateful and my mind is now at ease after starting treatment.

    e Consult submitted on 4th March no response by the 6th of March. You do all the right things, submit an e-consult, you don't call the practice, and then you have to wait, 24 hours is acceptable 48 hours is not if you are in pain and continuing to experience painful symptoms. On calling the surgery after waiting 15 minutes and 20 seconds, I was told this is due to the volume of e-consults they have received. This makes me think e-consult is just another waiting list for GP surgeries. How are you supposed to access healthcare in a timely fashion, if you have to jump through hoops to actually speak to a GP.

    The practice staff went out of their way to assist and above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we received the treatment my partner and I needed for which we are extremely grateful stop
