I called the practice to request an appointment and I made use of the ‘call-back’ service that the clinic offers. I waited for nearly 2 hours and no one called me back. When I called the practice to ask for a reason, the lady at the phone just told me that she didn’t know why no one called, and she didn’t even know who to contact to complain about it. She kept saying ‘I apologise for the inconvenience’ as if she was a mechanic phone message and she told me to call back the day after or to use the online form. Unfortunately, I was only off today and I cannot keep my phone with me at work and it will be very hard for me to call unless it’s on a day off. Even if I complete the form, I would not be able to answer their call back until my day off. This means I will have to wait until next week and hope that someone answers the phone and knows what is going on in that clinic. This is totally unacceptable. No understanding at all for people that don’t have office hours at work.

Dear Patient, I apologise for your experience. When patients select the ‘call back’ feature, they receive an automatic call (triggered by the telephone software) when they reach the beginning of the queue. If this call is not answered, an automated text is sent to the patient (if it is a mobile number) explaining that the call back was missed. If you did not receive this text, then please contact us directly so that we can investigate this for you. It is difficult to accommodate everyone’s timetable, but the Extended Access Service, Pharmacy First, online booking and online consultations have allowed more patients to seek medical attention and contact us at a time that is suitable for them, as this can all be done in the evenings and weekends as well. When using online consultations, depending on the condition and detail provided, clinicians can respond via text, or request a telephone or face to face appointment. These appointment details are texted to patients, therefore viewable at any time, and if inconvenient, you can contact us between 8am-6.30pm Monday to Friday to rebook. We will always try to accommodate as best as possible. I will ensure to remind staff how the call back feature works and that they should take the time to explain it to patients, as well as all the options available to them to seek medical attention. I will also discuss the importance of feeding back any issues patients have to management so that they can be investigated. Thank you for your feedback.

I tried to register my kids and wife twice and I went there with reference numbers and they had no clue about it. The staff is also intolerant and didn’t give satisfactory answers about why my kids and wife was not registered. The supervisor said that she is going to pass on details to management and no response from their side. I have twins of 3 years and they may be due for vaccination and how bad it is that I am unable to register my kids. My older son is suffering from fever for past 2 days. Whenever I went there they took my details but I haven’t heard back from them. I have doubt that they don’t want to register my kids. 0 of 5.

Whenever I try to book appointments online it always says no appointment available. It’s been a week I’m trying to get an appointment. They have fixed time to call to book an appointment. At my work place I’m only allowed to use my phone at my break time. I have told the receptionist so many times that I can’t call you at this time but than she says book online & online there’s never any appointment available which is so annoying. By the time we get the appointment our problem is solved. They should have two different timings to book an appointments one in mornings & one in the evening. They need to improve their service.

We understand that it is not always possible to book an appointment at a preferred time, despite our efforts to ensure fairness and accessibility. At our practice, we offer a range of booking options to accommodate patient needs. You can book a GP appointment by phone starting at 10am, or online at 10am. We choose this time to try to accommodate as many patients as possible. I.e. it allows patients to begin their day and seek permission from employers to make a call/go online or return home from the school run etc. To further enhance our services, we have implemented an online triage system, Klinik, that allows you to complete a form detailing your medical concerns which is reviewed within 48 working hours. This convenient option enables you to submit your request at your own pace, from the comfort of your own home any time during the week except for Saturdays and Sunday Mornings. Never get an app, every morning at 10am I’m on the phone waiting to make an appointment, after waiting in the line over an hour line cut off, when I call back and waited again over an hour just to know they don’t have an appointment. I wish Doctors or management should take those in investigations, surely something wrong , it can not be right . Far worse then anyone can imagine how poor this GP is , I wish I have never join them .
