    visited practice 29/10/2024 found practice very busy but reception very helpful waiting time to see clinician very acceptable, i was treated with the utmost respect listened to and any concerns i told clinician were taken on board i visited practice feeling apprehensive but left feeling, very happy keep up excellent work

    We are new patients, having changed Surgery within Peterborough. Admin is absolutely fantastic in dealing with requests and putting it through to the appropriate department. Tests are arranged quickly, we have accessed a Physio, an outstanding Community Paramedic, with GP appointments already in place. Medication reviews were done when registered, including Blood tests for a baseline. We have seen exemplary practice in action, and feel reassured that we will be well-looked after as we are older patients. The App is easy to navigate, and has numerous gateways to access facilities. The phone is not our first port of call, but of course if we needed to access care on the day, we would. There is a call queuing system, best to call as soon after 8 as possible. We found staff to be courteous, and followed up our queries straight away, using the internal communication system. We are very impressed, it is managed extremely well, and are delighted we were able to join the Practice. We can only benefit from such a positive and reassuring experience.

    Great service from both nurses I saw recently and to the Dr I saw today who saw me at very short notice. effficient, you feel cared for,very helpful,glad I transferred over from Thorpe Road Medical centre. Many thanks and much appreciated.

    I was waiting for a specialist referral from a GP who suddenly left without warning. When I called reception I was told another GP would be in touch and, despite another referral promise, nothing has materialised. Now it's impossible to get a new appointment because by the time they ring back all appointments have gone. Now I have to start again tomorrow. Why are you still advertising new patient registrations when you can't cope with the ones you already have? You have a duty of care and currently you are not fulfilling that obligation to me.

    Rang at 8.05 this morning for an appointment. Was in que got disconnected a dozen times. Finally got the option of being called back when at top of queue. 9.26 am. Got asked date of birth name and problem. Only to be then told no appointments available. Surely would have known before asking for name date of birth and problem? Is this a way of getting patients angry so they can be removed from the list? Rude and arrogant staff.

    My 2nd on line phone appointment recently excellent service so easy to use, 1st call with Gp done very efficiently with an invite to the surgery for a face to face appointment thank you 2nd on line appointment very prompt and on time after discussion with Gp of my shoulder problem Gp recommended ultrasound/scan pain relief medication faxed to my named chemist all done and sorted without me leaving the house well done Boroughby “happy patient “

  7. Review titled Nurses are spot on. Doctors n reception very sad

    Not happy. Asked for an appointment with diabetes nurse or community nurse. 3 appointment later still being passed from pillar to post. So far i have seen a local nurse a paramedic and a trainee diabetes nurse. I had a blood test for which i was told the doctor would call with results . I received a text to call and make appointment to speak to doctor on the day . Which I did and was told an appointment was available in 2 weeks time . I asked to speak to a doctor and was told you can 5 April 2024 today is 22nd March 2024. I have had 2 heart attack in past 30 days . My sugars are spiking like fireworks. And this has been the response of my gp . I could be dead and buried by 5 April mate I can call from otherside. Very hard to get past the receptionist they have the answer to all your issues. Need to train the reception staff. Very bad image for surgery...

    I attended the surgery for some tests, the medical staff were amazing and so caring and made me feel at ease. I received a call on Monday from the sister which I missed, but called after 10 am like I was asked to on the voicemail. I was told the nurse was busy but my message would be passed on for a call back. I waited all day and heard nothing. I'm beginning to wonder if my message was even passed on. Today I have called after 10 again and had the same dismissive receptionist again tell me I can get a call back on Thursday! This is appalling. I'm sick with worry, knowing I have results that need to be discussed and no one who can give them to me. When I said I had a hospital appointment on Thursday, I was told I'll have to call again tomorrow at 8. Such a poor service after experiencing amazing treatment. No one goes to the doctors feeling great and the lact of compassion from the people on the telephone is astonishing.

    After waiting for 47 min on phone before getting through. The staff attitude was 💩 could not care less. I was in extream pain. Had just got back after suffering a heart attack. I speak fluent English. But she either was too busy doing something else. For sure was not listening to me. The staff got don't give a dam attitude. I will be looking to leave soon. As for the doctors can not fault them. They probably the best in city.... If you thinking of joining this place... don't bother until they get better staff...receptionist talk to you as if they doing you a favour. And look down at you as if you should not be there... well good luck all.

    on visiting this practice i found reception staff very courteous and helpful as regards medical staff they showed me the utmost respect and explained everything to me i would like to mention the call backs from the practice be they be from reception/nursing/or doctors to me as a patient they were all invaluable and showed how much the patient is the centre of the practice thank you again keep up the excellent standards
