Review titled Lovely Surgery
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Denise SPARROW - Posted on 12 February 2024
No problems getting an appointment on the same day. Saw the Paramedic, she was polite, professional & Kind. Listened to my concerns, symptoms & I felt valued & heard. Was given a prescription for my Sinusitis, which I waited for in the surgery. A first class NHS service at a time when most are stretched. The Administration staff were friendly on the phone too.

Review titled Wonderful service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I changed to this practice about 2 years ago after getting very frustrated with the poor pharmacy at Comberton surgery, and I have no regrets. All the staff I have encountered at Bourn, and especially my GP, have been warm, friendly, caring and efficient. We’re asked to give one week’s notice for repeat prescriptions and, usually within 3 or 4 days, I receive a text message saying they are ready to collect. Very rarely is there a need to return twice because an item is not available, and usually there is a maximum wait of a few minutes. My only concern is that parking is sometimes difficult, but this is not a big issue.

Review titled Wonderful service

At a time when GP services are very stretched I wish to comment on an exceptional service I recently received. On Friday 22nd July I was feeling unwell and at 11 am I decided to check my blood pressure. It was very high. I phoned the surgery where I spoke with a helpful and sympathetic receptionist who arranged a call back from a clinician which happened within 15 minutes. 90 minutes after taking my BP at home I was being seen in the surgery where I had a full assessment and was provided with medication which thankfully has proved very effective. This was a great example of general practice at its best and I am extremely grateful for the service I received from all the practice staff - not least those behind the scenes who organise an efficient system that makes such a service possible.
