    arrived a few minutes before time .... receptionist on ph ... acknowledged my presence and kept talking - eventually came off phone and took my details (100% to receptionist - rather less for the organisation that seems to mean receptionist on phone when patients arrive - that has happened on each of previous 4 visits as well - waiting room pleasantly warm - minimal wait before nurse called me in - 100% for nurse who did diabetic checks on me .... gave me good advice and explained everything clearly .... took a blood test .... end of visit .... the problem is that I will only hear if there is anything wrong with the blood test ... I will not be told if everything is ok and I will never know if everything ok or by oversight brought on by sheer pressure of work the test result is not seen by appropriate professional and something serious has been missed ... (mistakes do happen) ... this is the one real problem I have ... I know why you do it ... saves wasting time telling patient ... and probably a lot of patients would then have additional questions which would mean even more wasted time. - I am just thankful that is all I have to mention ... and I am glad I am a patient here rather than elsewhere. .... the only thing I could do with now is for you to get in a couple of dentists who will treat NHS patients.!!

    Dear Mr Penny, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. As a team, we have reflected on your helpful observations of the reception area and are looking at ways as to how we can remove the telephone from the main reception desk. Generally, the Patient Services Team pick up calls at reception when they do not have a patient with them, we do recognise that some calls can take a while and appreciate how frustrating this can be when waiting for assistance. We do understand that patients would welcome communication for normal test results. Due to the high number of tests undertaken daily, regretfully it is not possible to contact every patient personally where results are normal and no further investigations are indicated. Test results are available to view within the NHS App, and the patient services team are always willing to print a copy of results for you upon request. It would be wonderful to have a dentist as part of our practice team; if the government ever decide to co-host services we have lots of space to extend to accommodate a dental suite!     My call was answered promptly and the call handler was pleasant and well informed, he accessed information and provided me with the information I needed. He remembered my name and was very pleasant and professional.

    Bullied into appointments that I don't want or need. Uninvolved in my own medical care. My opinions aren't listened to, and I'm expected to just shut up and pit up with whatever I'm told to do.
