  1. Review titled Great customer service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had the flu virus over Christmas which was getting worse. I tried to ring the surgery to get an appointment from 8am but it either cut me off or my time in the queue was increasing. I completed the online patient form, to provide details. The surgery rang me back within 30 minutes and organised an appointment with the GP by 10am! I was diagnosed with an acute lower respiratory tract infection been prescribed strong antibiotics and a blue inhaler.

  5. Review titled Very uncomfortable appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 May 2023

I had a telephone consultation regarding taking hormonal birth control to help with my severe pms symptoms. The doctor agreed that this could be helpful, but was reluctant to prescribe, suggesting that it would be better for me to go to a family planning clinic (although I saw no reason why I couldn’t just be prescribed by a gp). I then insisted that I would rather he prescribed. He asked me if I had spoken to my parents, and if they approved, which seemed totally irrelevant. I am an adult, living independently, and fully capable of making my own decisions about my body. While I was given the pills in the end, I felt uncomfortable and slightly insulted by the notion that my medical decisions should be dependent on someone else’s personal opinion, and that of my parents, not a doctor.

  6. Review titled Thank you

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I needed a px for my son for conjunctivitis or he couldnt go nursery. The chemist next door where on the list to do minor ailments however they no longer did this. I couldnt buy it due to needing instructions on their to cover for nursery. Or i would have. The two ladies on reception one was assistant manager and the orher lady with her they went above and beyond and got my son in with the gp at 6pm im so so grateful to the two ladies and the gp of course. They deserve the recognition and i always feel that everyone should be acknowledged for their efforts and kindness. I got a px if the gp and my son can go back to nursery so i can go work. Im so grateful
