Review titled Amazing nursing skills
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by George Razvan Porumb - Posted on 20 November 2024
I have been meaning for quite some time to write this feedback in praise of the nurse who looked after me for a blood test on 11 November 2024 (11.40am). I have always had a problem when giving blood samples. It's mainly psychological - I generally faint, or become fainty and very weak and such tests are sadly always very traumatic and difficult for me (for which reason I avoid them or delay them as much as I can). I do not think I have ever had this test performed so competently on me, with so much skill, so quickly, painlessly and efficiently, than what I experienced on 11 November. Besides her obvious medical skills, the nurse handled this particular fear of mine with great patience and wisdom, and I am extremely grateful for her service! A top-tier professional indeed!

Review titled Messaging
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Steve burdett - Posted on 31 October 2024
I have received countless reminders about being eligible for a flu jab. I booked my appointment 6 weeks ago and had the jab 2 or 3 weeks ago. Since then i have been sent 3 messages from the NHS app, and now one from you which, incidentally had really bad grammar and spelling, telling me I can have a flu and COVID jab. No wonder so much money is wasted when no one knows what the left and right hands are doing!!

It’s was great and helpful I can’t wait to to get started with them. They are very close to where I live it’s just in walking distance. The form was short to fill in and very professional.

Review titled Wonderful team at this practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by K S - Posted on 28 April 2023
It’s not often I leave reviews but I had such a positive experience with this GP surgery this morning, I felt I ought to share. I’ve had my fair share of negative experiences with GPs in the past, that left me feeling unheard, patronised and unsupported. Today was the complete opposite! Helpful reception team and a lovely GP who asked lots of questions, didn’t make me feel like I was being rushed and actually gave me options. I left feeling like I wanted to hug them all! Such a refreshing experience! Thank you.

Review titled Mostly positive experience except for one rude receptionist
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 18 April 2023
I had so far positive experiences in this practice, medical staff seem caring and helpful especially the nurses, however I had quite an unpleasant experience with a receptionist and I worry about breaches of privacy. The receptionist in question seemed to pretend not understanding me. They made me repeat my personal details few times and loudly for anyone there to hear, then in a rude way asked me why I wanted to book a face to face appointment with the GP, and I had to repeat twice and loudly again so everyone there could hear my health issue, it was embarrassing. I find it an appalling breech of privacy and obviously complaint to they, but they ignored me. They was very unhelpful in any way possible and even questioned my request until I pointed out it was requested by an NHS service, and only when they checked on the computer they finally agreed to look for dates to book my appointment. I couldn't help but wonder if this receptionist was showing a xenophobic attitude against my slight continental accent ( I've been living in this country for more than two decades). In any case the practice should provide more privacy at the reception and I don't understand why a patient should tell a receptionist about private health issues, isn't it a breach of privacy and a form of personal abuse?
