The ladies on reception were very helpful and I was lucky to have a staff member who gave me advice straight away, very friendly, knowledgeable, she even looked on line to show me details about my symptoms and sorted a repeat prescription too. Her initials are sf title anp Thank you so much you are amazing and much appreciate your help and time given.

I have had lovely receptionists answer the phone previously however, after the experience I had today some staff could do with being told it is not ok to speak to patients rudely. It is not acceptable for customers to speak to staff rudely and it would not be tolerated by the surgery if we dis so, so why is it acceptable for the reception staff to do it to patients.

I was unable to get through to book a gp appointment by telephone because of how busy the lines were so tried to book online. Every time I tried to book an appointment whether though system online or the nhs app it states I cant book it because I have reached my limit of my future appointnents. The only future appointnent I have booked is for a Covid and Flu jab. So my only option is to either cancel my vaccinations and risk being seriously ill this winter or risk not seeing a gp for a month against the advice of my Chiropractor. Ridiculous system designed to actively prohibit patients from seeing a doctor!

We certainly aim to make accessing appointments as easy as we can. We now have a new telephone system that gives the option for you to select a call back thus having to avoid waiting in a queue. Recently had to ring to see a doctor same day. From the receptionist the doctor and the nurse that I saw and spoke to. I was dealt with quickly efficiently and with kindness. I certainly would not have got better treatment anywhere else.

I tried to make an appointment today. I was told I was number 10 in the queue. I held for 22 minutes, and immediately after being told I was now number 1 in the queue, it cut me off! I rang again and I was back to number 10. This just isn't good enough.

Thank you for your comments, I am sorry to hear of your experience with the telephone system. The practice will be moving to a new telephone system in the very near future and this will give callers the option to have call back rather than wait in a queue, which we hope will improve the patient experience. If you have on-line access or the NHS App you are able to book and cancel appointments through there. We are always grateful for patient feedback and appreciate the time you have taken to provide this.

You cannot even make an appointment to see a doctor. I ended up seeing a nurse who couldnt help me. The next time I tried to see a doctor - I was told I couldnt until I filled in an online triage form. I had to get help for this. Thanks for zero service.

I sent a review on 21st July 2023 and l have not had a response from the practice. This is not good enough. Also, the website is still down and has been like that for many, many weeks. This means that patients cannot order repeated prescriptions, make appointments with medical staff, see your medical history/records and veiw any messages for you. This is not acceptable!

Their Website has been down, for a long time now. So, l cannot order repeat prescription on line! I needed medication, so l contacted my pharmacy (Peak Pharmacy,Blue Belle Way), Friday 14th 2023. Prescription collected Monday 17th July 2023. However, on checking the medication on 18th July 2023, l found that one of the items had not been sent, they had included something else that I did not require yet. Contacted the pharmacy and they told me to speak to the surgery. Phoned on 18th July 2023 the surgery prescription line and left urgent message to call me. As they failed to call back l Phoned 19th July 2023 the surgery main switchboard and explained the problem. The receptionist said she would order the medication. Received on 20th July 2023 a text message from the surgery saying medication at the pharmacy. Phoned on 21st July 2023 and they confirmed they have the medication ready.

Thank you for your comments, we are sorry you felt the need to put such a review on. The website has been down due to the merger of Brierley Park Medical Centre and Skegby Family Medical Centre. Unfortunately this was out of the control of the practice. The website is now up and running and we can only apologise for the inconvenience caused. Completely unable to book an appointment for the following week as all blocked off for Emergency appointments only bookable on the day in a first come first served battle from 8am Unable to even get a phone appointment with your names GP unless you can wait a few weeks !!
