  1. Review titled Excellent

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I needed a repeat prescription because my condition had not healed, but I had very little time. I was seen, assessed and prescribed for in less than 2 hours.

  2. Review titled Always helped me when needed

I've used this service three times since I've lived in Brighton and couldn't get a GP appointment. I've always been seen fairly quickly, and got the care I needed

  3. Review titled It was alright

Rated 4 stars out of 5

It’s good for emergencies if you can’t go to your GP surgery on that day which is why I went there with my partner there supporting me. Generally it was alright, the only thing is that you have to wait to be seen (depending on day) as it’s a walk in practice so you may not be seen straight away so expect to wait. I waited for an hour to be seen for my injury on the day I went and when I got seen, it was a very short one minute appointment if I can even call it that with a doctor and then it was goodbye. It’s dependent on the injury of course but they do like to keep things moving which is good from the people waiting’s perspective as it means more people are seen and they’re trying to get through to as many people as possible. But from a personal perspective my appointment session was a little rushed and would’ve maybe liked them to have done few more checks on my injury before quickly saying the appointment was done and opening the door to imply that we had to leave quickly sort of thing which is fine for normal people but as someone with autism it was quite a lot to process with all my surroundings and everything like that so the whole situation felt a bit rushed. I do recommend people who are neurodivergent to go there it is okay (tolerable) but I wouldn’t of gone with without someone with me because I would’ve felt too nervous to go by myself as the vibe in general was a bit of a weird one as people are going in for general and for sexual check ups/walk in sessions so the atmosphere is unpredictable. When I got there I didn’t feel immediately welcome by staff they seemed a bit like they’d had enough of the day already. They weren’t rude but you could tell they were just trying to tolerate all the people there on that specific day and they’d seen it all sort of thing.

  4. Review titled Good experience overall

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Reception staff calm and friendly. Clinical staff friendly and helpful. The only problem was the two-hour wait, as other people have also mentioned. I am grateful to have been dealt with so well. Thanks!

Although the wait was a few hours I was very happy with the doctor and the fact that I was able to see them. I would recommend this clinic

  6. Review titled Great staff

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Considering the amount of patients crossing those doors everyday and the pressure the staff is under. The staff is very welcoming and the doctors take the time to listen to the patients. Great to also be seen by doctors that are used to babies and get them distracted whilst they are getting examined.

  7. Review titled Very Helpful

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Ian Low - Posted on 07 October 2023

I had a very bad rash on my upper torso and contacted my own GP twice, they refused to see me face to face and prescribed some steroid cream which made no difference at all. I got to the walk in centre just as they opened at 8am and everyone was so helpful. I think it is so sad that our own GP cannot be borrowed to see us, but the staff at the walk on centre are so under pressure and they are willing to help. Thank you

  8. Review titled Great service in a good environment.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 October 2023

I came back from a short break with a medical issue and was too late to get an appointment with my GP. I went to the walk in centre and despite a number of people in front of me I was seen by a doctor within an hour. She was very thorough and diagnosed my issue and gave me good advice for treatment. A very good and efficient service from receptionists to doctors in a clean and calm environment.

  9. Review titled Walk-in review

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 October 2023

I have used the walk-in twice, once for my toddler son and once for myself. On both occasions the service was excellent. Not a long wait, and when I saw the doctor about a respiratory issue he was very helpful, showing good professional concern and didn't make me feel rushed.

Thank goodness for this practice. A relatively small medical problem treated with efficiency thus preventing a more serious condition. Very professional and respectful.
