I was seen by a doctor within the hour. The receptionist was very helpful. The alternative would have been a 3 week wait for an appointment at my registered practice. The infection I have couldn’t wait that long. It shouldn’t have to be like this. Without this clinic I would have had to go to A and E.

I had to wait a couple of hours at the walk in centre but it was worth to be able to access a doctor who was empathetic and helpful, giving me a prescription for my problem. Waiting area was clean and tidy

I was told by my own gp that I could have a phone call a full week away from when I needed an appointment and if I needed anything else I should go to the walk in centre. So I went to the walk in centre at this gp practice and was seen by a doctor within an hour who prescribed emergency antibiotics while I waited to see my own gp. Great that we have this facility but we shouldn’t be in a situation of having to use it because you can’t see your own gp.

It was a busy time and I did have to wait nearly three hours. I was advised that this would be the case and it was slightly shorter than the original estimate. Receptionists were very polite and the doctor was excellent. I didn’t feel rushed as I usually do at my own practice. It was important to get antibiotics as soon as possible and by using this surgery I have a 48 hour head start. Recommended!

Was not long to wait and the doctor was really nice to me and made me feel relax however parking is a problem up there but overall a good service

Not the first time I have used the clinic as I only visit Brighton and do not have a local GP. Wait times vary depending on patient volume, but rarely more tha 30 minutes. Doctors always thorough and unhurried.

Both receptionists were excellent, they were patient focused and had a ‘can do’ approach. They created a calm atmosphere in the waiting area and were a credit the the practice and the NHS. The Nurse practitioner I saw was friendly and professional. She was very efficient, I was probably only in there 10 mins, however I never felt rushed. Treatment was spot-on and the advice helpful. I would love to have a similar service where I live.

I had an ear infection which came on very suddenly. This surgery is a great way of seeing a Gp on the same day without spending hours waiting on the phone only to be refused an appointment. Quite a long wait to see a doctor (over 2 hours), but all staff friendly and patient and I think the wait was due to there actually only being one Doctor on duty due to an emergency situation earlier in the day.

Took my poorly 2 year old just before closing time. Despite it being so late the doctor was kind, did not rush us, and thoroughly assessed my child. I was reassured that they listened and took our concerns seriously. I am very grateful for their service.

It’s essential to have this kind of walk in service as my own doctor in peacehaven does not have appointments- a weeks wait for something simple. I’m so impressed with the speed and efficiency of the clinic! Thank goodness they exist!
