Frankly, my entire experience with GPs has been either being unable to get an appointment for months to a year at a time and then when I finally get one not being taken seriously about my symptoms. It's caused my condition to get worse and worse over time, to the point I physically cannot work, yet other GPs still claim that nothing is wrong with me and everything is 'anxiety' without any actual investigation. I moved to this practice at the end of June. I have now had three appointments. The first GP I saw actually took me seriously, took my observations and developed a plan with me on what we would do to investigate the issues. They referred me for an ECG, which was the second appointment with the practice. The nurse that did the ECG was lovely and understanding and made the entire experience as comfortable as possible. I just had my third appointment with a second GP at the practice, where I was once again taken seriously and have been referred onwards for investigation. 3 appointments compared to 7 years of being shoved aside, imagine how happy I am right now. Finally I'm being taken seriously and I'm getting somewhere. I would also like to note how lovely the receptionists are and how they actively do what they can to get an appointment for you. I'm very glad I moved to this practice, thank you to everyone I've seen here so far.

I have a child with complex medical conditions and a simple cold is very bad for him. The receptionist don't pay attention and without even looking at the system say sorry no appointments. I try explaining what happens and how fast he will go to the point of hospital could I have a call but they don't want to know . I have an extremely unwell child and no appointments and no help. Saying that one receptionist went above and beyond helping source his medication

We left a nearby surgery last year due to the appalling deterioration in service after being there for over 50 years, We transferred to Brook medical centre and I'm just so glad that we did, I only wished we'd done it sooner. Great service, prompt responses to requests and repeat prescriptions and a reception team that are cheerful and hopeful. I've been in contact several times due to my wife's underlying medical condition and whether it's the Dr, the nurse or the reception team, they've always been great with us. Thank you for making us feel valued.

Me and the wife have been using brook medical centre for the last 8 years and can not fault them. The receptionists are always helpful and polite which I'm sure is difficult in a stressful job. Great doctors and nurses. Never had a problem getting appointments.
