I come every 10 weeks for a B12 injection. the person who did it was very kind and friendly. Very quick and easy.

As you wait you're asked to give staff respect and dignity but i was treat with none of these by a particular gp who invalidated, judged and criticised me for my appointment about my son then proceeded to turn things around and blame me for leaving the appointment without having the physical when the physical was not needed as Accident and Emergency staff had done a physical the night before. I explained there was no need for physical and he had already made up his mind about me. Luckily receptionists and healthcare staff were very kind to me as unfortunately i suffer with mental health issues and the gp attained to exacerbate the issue and not listen to mine (and other gps) concerns. In this day and age gps need to be trained in how to communicate with empathy. I wouldn't recommend this surgery if you have young children and/or MH issues.

I was running short of medication, so phoned the surgery. The reception staff member was extremely helpful and referred it to a pharmacist. She then phoned me back and arranged to have the prescription sent to a different chemist so that I could pick it up promptly. Thank you

Having dealt with Book Square Surgery for some time, I have found the service and attention excellent. I have had no problem arranging appointments, obtaining repeat prescriptions or being able to view messages, being registered for on-line services.

Recently received a text message 23rd Nov to make an appointment to see a nurse re COPD review text stated we have appointments this week, completed online form replied with earliest appointment 13 December that's a long week, also asked to complete Asthma check on line on completion score was very low, does anyone review these forms and contact patients to discuss results ?

I have only been with this practice for a year, but have been very impressed with the level of service. Although it takes a while to get through on the phone, the receptionists are always helpful - and when I needed an appointment today, I was seen promptly by an excellent nurse practitioner
