   I am going through peri menopause and went to the drs for support with this. After two years and three different drs I was put on a 12 month waiting list for gynaecology. This was after being told I am depressed and need to talk to a councillor. There was no constructive conversation around the possibility of it being peri menopause. I left the surgery feeling worthless. I paid to go private was seen within a week, listened to, made to feel valued and told I am not depressed. I was put on hrt straight away and my life was transformed. The nurse practitioners at this surgery are amazing and have a lot of time for you.
