Review titled My Patient records missing for 5/6 months
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 10 June 2024
I registered to this surgery back in February thinking it’s fine even though they have bad reviews on Google as I had just move to the area. The registration process in weird as you have to go in and register. I don’t know how they coped during Covid if they want you to come in to just register but then when you ask for an appointment it will be delayed as they still have the unnecessary policy from Covid to have restrictions on how many patients should be allowed to seen everyday. They have maximum 2 staff on a good day let alone 1 person who will sit there moody and entitled like we shouldn’t even ask them questions like what an appalling customer service from the staff especially the ladies there. I have called the team at this surgery every week just to chase up and see if they even collated my records from my previous surgery which I called to chase and they said they had sent all documents to my new surgery which never got chased up by this lacking staff surgery hence all my reports and MRI I completed and results that I require for my health conditions missing for over 5/6 months now they literally don’t even care about the patients medical records which by the way is a breach in confidentiality of my data as I signed the papers for them to keep it secure in there data base. I this instance the amount of negligence from this GP Surgery is actually disturbing because imagine an elderly fragile person or even an young venerable person trying to call around and chase there medical records and getting pushed in all directions as your own GP can’t take any responsibility for their lack of leadership.

Review titled Very many thanks
Rated 4 stars out of 5

I contacted the practice in relation to my elderly mother. The person I spoke to was very understanding/helpful and made a telephone appointment with a GP for later that morning. The GP rang as arranged. Again, I was treated in a courteous and helpful way. As a result an urgent referral was made to a dermatologist. This morning (the day after speaking to the GP) I received the appointment details from the dermatologist, which is in two weeks time. Many thanks to the Bryant Street surgery for all your help

Review titled Terrible
Rated 1 star out of 5

Waited two weeks for a telephone appointment regarding my mental health and to ask questions about referrals for treatment. Recieved a text message telling me I could contact a talking therapy service with a broken internet link. My appointment was clearly cancelled without notifying me after this message as I waited up for a call at the specified time. Only after a close friend called on my behalf (I complained about the event's to them), did I recieve a missed call from a doctor. I requested an appointment with a doctor, I recieved a text message from the reception team with some information I could get myself and they cancelled my appointment. It is quite clear from other reviews here that they don't care and should probably cease operating. Stop Gatekeeping Our Healthcare!
