Excellent service from all doctors & Staff the only down fall to this amazing practice is the pharmacy. I personally have tried for a full hour to contact pharmacy today with there revised telephone opening time of one hour to no avail, I rang the surgery to ask if I could speak to them , was told if I didn't manage to get through within the time frame I would have to call in, my repeat prescription was ordered 11 days ago. this service is so poor, now I have a car and can easily navigate driving and phone calls, but this service for the less able bodied is totally unacceptable. The pharmacy really lets the amazing practice down.

Rude and dismissive receptionist that didn't want to listen to my query. She was more intent on fobbing me off than listening to what I was asking. I was cut off in the first sentence rather than listening to the question.

I have only recently joined the practice after moving into the area. I was previously at a very busy GP surgery and I have been amazed at how stress free it has been to access your services. The staff are helpful and kind and Dr B has been excellent. I have been through a very traumatic experience in hospital and he has supported me in every way he could, including calling me in hospital to see how I was getting on. I can’t thank you all enough.

Generally caring doctors and staff. I would say a higher calibre of doctor than other surgeries I’ve been to in the past. Whenever I have visited, the GPs have been professional and empathetic. However, like much of the country, the main problem is actually being able to get an appointment. It used to be a same day service but now it’s 2-3 weeks to get an appointment. That really isn’t good enough for a lot of conditions and leaves patients feeling a little helpless. More so, when you do get an appointment it’s not unusual to wait an additional 40 minutes after your appointment time to see the doctor. General note: We simply cannot expect our GPs to keep working longer and harder. We have to recruit more doctors or provide better services to help with the demand. I’ve seen a lot of complaints regarding the dispensary but I’ve never had a problem. They have always been polite and helpful whenever I have had the need to visit them.
