I called the GP Bute house medical centre and they said they can’t change the appointment as their policy is an hour to call in to change the appointment how is people going to know and it’s a bad policy that they can’t change it the policy needs to be changed Getting ridiculous

i have been incident on work i have been emergency hospital treatment they ask contact you gp for sick note i have been gp for appointments 8.45 am first of all receptionists is Rod no appointments available call tomorrow 8.30 i said i try yesterday said same no appointment i want to see doctor dor sick note she sid fill up from online they call me 12 am we can't give sick not within 7 day after 7 day fill up same from we contact you yesterday i fill up from i am waiting 3pm no one call than i call hp what i am waiting a call thay said tou fill up rong from very help les receptionists or staff thay do this

The lady today was very patient and extremely helpful,I could not have wished for anybody more helpful. She explained everything to me and made sure I understood.

The lady today was extremely helpful and patience, and I could not asked for anybody better. She help me with the new web site and took her time explaining everything to me.thank you all for your help

Have tried several times to get an appointment, the triage form seems to close at 9am,even though a doctor told me that was untrue and it was open till 10.30, I leave for work at 8.30 by the time I get to wirk there are no appointments and reception is unhelpful and just directs online, when I googled this doctors has terrible reviews and now I know why.

So my mother suffers from depression and doesn’t tend to answer her phone to calls she is not expecting. In the recent weeks she was sent for a blood following a diabetes check up, as there were some concerns. The GP called her and explained her iron level was low therefore the relevant support and attention was given. She has a had a follow up blood test which the GP was contacting her about. Please note this was not an appointment the GP called himself and left 2 voicemails for her to contact the surgery. I prompted my mother to call the surgery as she was asked to do. When she called today at around 16.20 the receptionist was rude and abruptly asked my mother why she missed 2 appointments and calls. My mother never had an appointment the GP tried to contact her regarding her results as he must of been concerned. Due to the receptionist being argumentative and rude I intervened and explained to the receptionist my mother had no appointment the GP has asked her to call, the receptionist continued to argue and say the GP would never call her unless she had an appointment. when I told her she was incorrect and to check her records she come back with a scheduled appointment for my mother. I’m sick and tired of the ladies this surgery keeps hiring they have no respect and hold a negative attitude towards patience . If you don’t like your job leave simple, some of these ladies have no people skills or even understand how the surgery is run. It needs sorting out, give these ladies some lessons on how to deal with patience and also teach them your surgery rules so they don’t argue with people over the phone when they clearly don’t know how the organisation is run. It’s a running pattern with how ignorant and rude they are. They feel entitled to disrespect patients, we all work and some people work in very stressful jobs, we would not get away with that attitude, so I don’t need a response to this review about how stressful their job is. They cause themselves stress because of how rude they are. Don’t expect us to show you respect when you don’t give it yourself.

Was phoned yesterday re a repeat perscription I had requested, I didn't understand a word the lady was saying as her accent was so heavy, I finally got her to slow down enough fir me to understand I needed to speak to a doctor, she offered me a telephone appt a month forward which would mean that I would have to stop my medication for about 3 weeks until I spoke to the doctor, I tried to explain it to (diss) I think her name was but she didn't understand, I asked for her name and said I woukd pop into the docs. I then got another call from someone else who was slightly easier to understand who offered me a closer appointment. Unfortunately this practice has just steadily gone down himm the front office staff are abysmal and can be rude .

I called Bute House at about 11:23 today regarding a follow-up with my doctor. I have been experiencing severe skin issues and was given a steroid cream that hasn't worked. Last night, I was kept up with excruciating itching. Previously, I contacted Bute House at the end of June and was helped immediately as it was a follow-up to an ongoing problem. My doctor knows about my issue. All I wanted was to let him know that the cream didn’t work and I’m suffering. Unfortunately, my experience today was quite different. The receptionist who answered the phone was very dismissive and did not seem to take my situation seriously, unlike the last receptionist I spoke to. The previous receptionist left a message for the doctor, but today’s receptionist had no intention to help me. What made this situation worse was the unprofessional conduct of the receptionist team. While I was on the phone, I heard giggling and laughing in the background. The receptionist answered the call mid-laugh, making me feel like I was intruding. It felt like she wanted to get me off the phone as quickly as possible without addressing my concerns. I felt worthless, and I could barely hear the receptionist due to the chatter of her colleagues. My matter was not properly assisted, despite having a better experience just a month ago. Last time, the receptionist left a message for the doctor, who promptly called me back. That is all I wanted due to the excruciating itchiness and the unsightly appearance of my skin. I am suffering and the online service was not working this morning. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as my condition is causing significant distress and I need proper assistance.

Was in need of a review of medication on trying to make a appointment at 08.30 via new system page refreshed lost the form o trying 5mins later appointment booking paused. Called surgery no appointments left apparently and to call back tomorrow, no appointments left and they don't keep openings for emergencies Like they used to. This is a bad services, if you only have 10.mins to make a appointment. This online appointment system needs to be revised. This surgery has always been good and I've been coming for over 30 yrs.
