I actually felt listened to by this practice and Doctor. My previous practice had a habit of not listening, changing meds with little to no explanation and of not putting referrals through. I had the exact opposite during one call to this practice.

Buxton Medical Practice is brilliant, and Buxton is lucky to have it. My GP takes time to listen, offers advice and solutions, and I feel he genuinely cares about my well-being.

After all the bad press re the NHS it was a pleasure to receive such excellent service - I rang the practice at 8.15, got a call back at 9.20 and a face to face appointment with my GP at 10.15.

Seen the doctor for my child today, he took his time and checked him thoroughly didn’t rush us and answered every question, and gave really good advice, was very reassuring

After recently moving to Buxton, we have been most impressed and very grateful for the professional, respectful, knowledgeable, warm and helpful support our family have received at Buxton Medical Practice. Many thanks, I couldn’t have asked for anything more from the helpful reception staff to the doctors consultations.
